- A red poppy is an emblem of remembrance and has long been associated with Anzac Day memorial services. You can make a paper flower version of a red poppy for Anzac Day with your kids and teach them the meaning of Anzac Day.
What you need:
1 x piece of red A4 paper
1 x green chenille stem
glue
scissors
pencil
ruler
Measure and cut two 10cm x 10cm squares from the red paper.
Fold each square into quarters (see video) and then fold on the diagonal, so that each folded edge meets and the cut edge is along the top.
Now mark out a curve on the triangle (see video).
Cut along that curve.
When you open it out, you should have a red flower shape. Make two.
Snip a hole in the centre of each red flower shape, push the chenille stem through the centre and tie a knot or twist to keep it in place.
Add a dab of glue to the underside of the flower where it meets the chenille stem, for good measure.

Instead saying Anzac Day, Here in Canada, We Say "Rememberance Day"
Cherie Gil we call it Remembrance day in England too.👍
I'm honestly not sure who calls it "Anzac Day". In the US it's called "Veterans Day" though I just call it "Armistice Day".
ANZAC stands for Australia New Zealand Army Corps so of course u wouldnt say it
In Australia, we commemorate BOTH Remembrance Day (11th November) and ANZAC Day (on the 25th of April).
They are 2 different things.
It doesn’t work
This is wrong. The whole idea of the poppy is the donations from buying them are used to support veterans.
I like minecraft
Play minecraft
Get wreaked
You don’t need to say that much time how you hate it
This didn’t work this is cap 🧢🧢🧢

My advice to others: don’t watch this video
