I just made them for Memorial Day and they are superb. I dissolved about 2 Tbsp of sugar with the yeast and water to test my yeast first and then put the remaining sugar with the rest of the ingredients. I followed the recipe to a T and it worked. I’ve been craving this for about 6 months now. Thanks Sweet Adjeley for satisfying this craving. I’m adding this to our family recipes.

I used all purpose flour I got from Aldi, scooped with a spoon and measured it into a standard measuring cup. Did you test your yeast to make sure it was active? What exactly went wrong with your bofrot? I could maybe offer some helpful suggestions if I know went wrong. Thanks :)
