He's shockingly handsome.
God's own country is a masterpiece.
He's sooooo good looking!!!!
He's a cutie pie
Great actor and a beautiful young man and by all accounts a very nice person too ❤️
"God's Own Country" Great film! Great Acting! Raw, sincere and genuine emotions exude from the two main actors interpretations. Both Alec and Josh were perfectly cast. It's really amazing to get to know the dudes on their natural daily lives, Josh O'Conner being this smily, articulate and lovely young man, so worlds apart from his Johnny Saxby screen persona left me breathless. And Alec Sacareanu being as loving as well... can't stop watching the movie! Ps: And thanks to Francis Lee for introducing me to Patrick Wolf's "The Days". Lovely song!
Agree...
Totally agree.
I agree... I got to know the song "the days" from this film, it's an amazing song. Whenever I listen to it, it takes me back to the end of the film.
Josh has performed, lived it and dared one of the best works in his life/career. I am deeply moved by the film. The camerawork, the script, the directing, the details, all the actors are just stunningly great. It's a very convincing victory of cinematography. It is so whole.
Great actor
In god's own country he did an amazing job of portraying the character, and the chemistry between him and his co-star was immense and electrifying
this dude is the definition of coy, the flirtatious kind of coy
Coy implies that he is doing it on purpose but I don't think he is. He's shy personality makes him warm to those around him. I just saw the trailer for The Crown season 3, I see that he carries that shy personality with him. After knowing also that he was part of the boom in lgbt films with god's own country alongside cmbyn, 120 Beats per Minute, and beach rats late this decade (2010's). I am beyond happy to just see what he's been in. I have been obsessed with Harris Dickinson who is doing quite well in his career. Another actor you should see. I hope that my comment wasn't burdensome. I just need to write this down to compose myself like oof.
@@Mrchair-bk5ns nah, coy doesn't have to imply doing it on purpose. And I also definitely think he's not faking so didn't mean it that way but haha I get the oof part
@@ciupenhauer I searched coy on google. The definition came up as something women only do purposefully in a date. I never thought you meant that he is faking it. Just saying what I am thinking from the definition because there are also a lot of celebs who are shy like Sophie Turner or most notably Timothee Chalamet. I mean Josh here doesn't seem to be flirty with the interviewer. It's just something he does because he's like that.
@@Mrchair-bk5ns yeah, I suspected you used the google definition, that's a bit too specific for the actual word, doesn't say where they pulled it from. Merriam-webster has it as "marked by cute, coquettish, or artful playfulness" & the free dictionary as "a. Affectedly and often flirtatiously shy or modest:" Word definitions aside, that's Josh alright
@@ciupenhauer Thanks for the chat! I love good comment discussion on RUclips. Btw, I am reading a bit on Josh. Check this article, if your interested: www.gq.com/story/josh-oconnor-profile
I loved this film so much. And I love you too x
love from chile josh 🇨🇱😁
I'm here for the Crown. New fan.😊 Do well on portraying PoW.👌
Better looking outside than in the film - Josh O'Connor. I am from Malaysia, great movie, a moving movie. After watching, I think the movie is not so much about homosexuality but more about human emotions and interactions. The English language in the movie is hard for me to understand except Gheorgie's English which is closer to US English, but no problem listening to Josh's English here in this interview in this video. Never been to UK and but have lived many years in US, always a bit harder understanding UK accent..
From malaysia too ,
Fyi they used yorkshire accent in the film. I think it is superb, It makes the film more authentic and proved that this film really brought visual emotions to the next level, you don't even have to understand the convo because Francis had already make things clear visually and the actors playings were fantastic
When he talks about Peter Postlethwaite looking more normal and less like Brad Pitt and that being relatable... ha. Josh has no clue that he is ten times more attractive than Brad Pitt could ever be.
I absolutely agree with you
Such a handsome and lovable man! He looks so different in the film. Very good actors and wonderful story. One of the films that I will never forget. He and Alec are far more attractive than Brad Pitt and L DiCaprio (no offense). They have beautiful faces, great shape and so natural. Normal people, but normally gorgeous
It's still so jarring to hear people use the word "queer" as a regular adjective and not a homophobic slur, it always raises my hackles a bit.
Going into this film, i didn't want to see any scenes that were similar to any scenes from Brokeback Mountain and i caught it twice. Id give half of star out of 5, sorry!
