The european art nouveau, art deco and gothic style of architecture is what we are talking about here in Baku, not some north African ones as in Morocco or Algeria. Architecture also tells more about the people living there. Their mentality, worldview, education level and aesthetic perception could be deduced from that.. Also Azerbaijan economy corresponds to the maastricht criterias much better than that of some EU countries like bulgaria, romania, cyprus, slovenia, slovakia etc
