I always looked at interview candidates clothes this way: "could they present to a client in this outfit and look appropriate?", "Are the clothes clean and ironed (I.e. does this person look put together)?", and "do I see their personality"? Leaves room for personal taste to shine, but also visually exuded the ability to get the job done.
Love this! Would love to see what you would wear to a client meeting in summer and in winter. I‘m always struggling! Needs to be quite smart (no short sleeves, no leg, no big winter boots, no jeans) but still make you feel comfortable and powerful.
I love the festival look lol I finally feel validated cause when I looked at kids in town for the Reading festival, I was like…cute, but also I’d be freezing….
Pahaha! YES. I feel like a concerned parent whenever I see cute festival outfits because my first thought is always ‘what if it rains?!’ ‘what if you get cold?!’. Just goes to show I’m really not a festival person.
I had one memorable festival experience where I was completely sober, stuck outside waiting at 4am for a bus that was running several hours late - but I was the only person in that queue who’d brought a jacket. Never been so smug in my life. Even in Australian weather it pays to be a bit of a grandma 😂

I would love to see winter/autumn dinner party, a film screening or gallery opening, a big presentation for work, day-trip in the summer (this one always stumps me), and the classic went-for-a-run-but-cut-it-too-close-and-now-have-to-get-ready-to-meet-friends-really-quickly.

I loved these outfits as usual! not sure how I feel about the little cut away during your narration. I love your voice and find it so soothing, but i think the cut away of you while you're narrating and not looking at the camera distracts from the outfits you had put together. The most striking thing about this is the fact that you stated something along the lines of always putting on outfits that you feel confident in, and you had come out with the jeans and white tank. So i love loose trousers but sometimes feel like i miss the mark with what top to pair, which shoes to keep it all flattering. I am 5"1! Also - what do you wear on the daily? Alas, I’ll never be able to wear a backless top 🤣 Other possible outfit scenarios: - visiting in-laws/ meeting boyfriend’s parents - day out with kids (I’m a mum of a 3-year-old but I’m determined not to lose my personal style!) - day trip (inc. long car journey) - theatre I wore a black dress to the last wedding I went to too 🤣 we were evening guests so it felt sort of acceptable…everyone was pretty drunk by the time we got there anyway 😆

I keep meaning to look for waterproof hats as an alternative to umbrella or hood. Not sure if it could look chic tho!

One tip from me on terms of this video. I am in video editing industry at the moment. I always noticed how you put together your videos and do the sound design, so simple but pleasing to watch. In this particular video you didn't put any music on background, though it would go nicer. Instead we hear a lot of mice noise and some crinkling. Hope you get it right, it's a bit harder to watch. Good luck with your thing 😉
Love the Kassl coat and is seriously considering buying one, but not very sure if it can be worn as a normal trench coat too in sunny days? Given the high price, it'll be a bit sad if it only serves as a raincoat LOL

I wear natural deodorant and have to throw away my whites every year as I'm just so embarrassed by how gross they get from sweat and deoderant and I just don't know what the trick is. My wardrobe is quite minimal in what I own (key pieces, from sustainable brands) and I don't really want to have to replace everything white every year. - Thank you :) open to any tips from viewers too!
I love seeing how you style things! Usually I will have similar items in my closet, but just never thought of styling them this way. Also I don't know if you are still looking for new youtubers to watch, but a couple of moths ago I came across Sophie Daniels' channel. She is a youtuber based in Germany and her video's are in English. Her channel is still small, but definitely worth checking out!
It looks so sheer on the FF site right?! I think that might be due to the flash photography, it’s not quite as sheer in real life. Probably could do with a nipple cover though when wearing it out.

It looks so sheer on the FF site right?! I think that might be due to the flash photography, it’s not quite as sheer in real life. Probably could do with a nipple cover though when wearing it out.
