Second dress is very unflattering on her - just a lacy, lumpy mess. I'm with the bride - no way you want to look like a chubby, frumpy mess at your wedding.
Trendy is dangerous. I got married, dated alert!, in 1981. I paid $125 for it. No monster shoulder pads and no over the top "trendy" dresses. I could slide into mine today and no one would ever know. Being trendy can be embarrassing on the wall, as time passes, when this trend is out, and a new one is in.
What mattered to the mother, in the end, was the bride's beaming face as she looked at herself in the mirror, because to good mothers, that's what matters most, not her personal opinion of a dress.
@tvaud why not a mermaid style dress? Just because she's pregnant doesn't mean she can't wear a mermaid. Some women don't show when they're pregnant. She could possibly also exercise while pregnant and then she definitely won't show.
I don't understand why a pregnant woman would want to have the dress so tight the baby bump is exposed. And every month she'll get bigger, so how can she even order the dress?
She looks like she’s already 4-5 months pregnant and it takes at least 6 months to get a dress in after ordering it. She will have the baby way before she actually walks down the aisle. Just do the math.
Thank you Mom!!! For seeing how happy the 1st dress made her feel and supporting her decision. Your wonderful.
good for her, she looked better in the first one
Only two dresses??? Why??

Before she came back out in dress #1 Susan should've put the veil on in the dressing room.

Neither dress did her any favours. She could have done better
Not that much she could do with a mermaid silhouette though.
This should be the way. Finally I see a real bride standing for what she wants. Bride first entourage 2nd

I’m imagining that she’s getting married after the baby is born. I’m wondering how the fittings would work though.
That is a great dress for the price.
Y’all…she’s not gonna be pregnant at the wedding.
Both dresses look awful on her.
why does it not hug her chest? It moves separately from her body?
Because she is pregnant.
Are you getting married before or after baby? I didn't hear the day. Why a mermaid?????
You want to call a dress your mum does not like, then you should pay for your own dress.
The top of the dress should have been tighter and not gaping open and not a practical style dress for being pregnant! 🤍👰🏻♀️🤍
She’ll have had the baby already by the time she wears it.
