So grateful this material is available universally for future generations to enjoy. And i am most certain they will. And wait until they spot Stan with Ollie. Regards to all fans watching this. England, March, 2024.

No wonder Stan Laurel was considered a comic genius...he learned from the best...as Chaplin's understudy, working with Larry Semon. I see a couple of gags with hats used later in Laurel and Hardy Films here, and even in the new Stan and Ollie drama comedy with Coogan and Reilly...interesting there are no subtitles (and not needed). If you need titles to help you figure out what's going on in this film, you're a real sad case, lol. The newer music chosen here works well. It is amazing films like these are still in existence after over a hundred years...a big thank you to film preservationists and organizations. This type of silent, "mime" film comedy is a lost art, and universal to the world, which is why Laurel and Hardy appealed to people worldwide that weren't hung up on applying logic to comedy, just fun. If you were raised on insults and put downs of verbal comedy, you won't get it...how sad a soul you are. Yet you laugh when pets do something funny chasing each other.....duh....

Yeah you're right. Most people my age (as I was born in the 21st century) are "sad souls" as you call 'em, but I really appreciate the old, innocent, and talented (moreso than the comedic actors today I think) comedy. The silent films like this one are really cool. I don't think people understand what talent it takes to mime like they used to. And just gonna throw out there, Laurel and Hardy are the best!

Thank you for your comments, so simple but very entertaining, if you can't laugh at this comedy how sad...I personally Laurel and Hardy were the best comedy team ever put together.

Larry Semon had all the potential to become the next Chaplin but fate took him into other direction.
Thank God Stan Laurel put up long enough to reach stardom.
