This is great! Yeah i feel confidence comes from action and this means releasing too. I feel the over-all set flow is most important but outside to that mini transition mistakes are ok and people won't notice if a track is out of key or the beats are slightly out of alignment - but we tend to be our own worst enemies. aim for set flow my friend, the journey, the energy, the connection :)

In the past I've posted nice comments and you responded to me, so now I'm just scratching my head!!!!... I listen to your antire video, and really liked it. Many of the big name DJs seem to play their sets from the "same box of records". You? It's a very well mixed blend of music I know and don't know. With all that said.... I just have to ask... why are you not some big Globel DJ right up there with Armin Van Buuren, Marcus Schultz and those guys? ... you certainly share the same passion for the art.
haha I appreciate that very much. I guess the reason is my focus went onto running my own events and not producing music. This means instead of spending my time behind a computer making music I was in the club scene playing. Once I got over it (17 years later) I fell into teaching. Time to pass the torch. Sure being a famous DJ would be awesome but no complaints, I love what I do and appreciate your kind words and support :)

Perhaps you're right. I was going more for a Berlin Techno kind of vibe but I can see how it could be seen this way and it's a shame I have been de-sensitised to such things - the world's falling apart. Then again where I am from the human body is celebrated and they have loads of burlesque style parties. I'm torn. I don't know what's worse, using sexual imagery like that or thinking it may be ok - aaaaggggghhhhhh!!!! You've given me a lot to consider, thank you

100% this can happen, it's why you need to be over prepared and have more tracks to choose from to avoid double ups as much as possible :)
