You don't have to feel too much pressure in performing well for the finals, it will all work out in the end!!! Getting into NUS is an amazing achievement in itself :))
hey I’m a recent graduate from NUS CS and I’ve been thru it all. Just wanna say hang in there and don’t be discouraged! It gets easier after the first few sems 💪🏻
hello Nicole! NUS student here too :) thanks for being so raw and real, and for daring to be vulnerable in this public platform - I'm sending you plenty of warm and kind thoughts. I think CAPT is a very nice and wholesome community - I hope you continue to surround yourself with people who encourage and uplift you. All the best and please take care :)
i love how real you are on your channel ❤️ thank u for just showing the other side of uni life that’s usually overlooked !! again, your editing is immaculate ✨✨ love this video so much & i’m sending u love !! u got dis ✨
this time of the year is so so hard for me too! I think it's more than just finals. There are just a million things that have to be done at the end of the year and I feel SO SO overwhelmed. You're going to do great and we are gunna get through this!!!
i’m also a y1 computer science student in NUS with no prior coding experience whatsoever, and i consider myself to be somewhat mathematically inclined. i was also taken aback by how difficult the modules are... especially CS1101S (which i guess you somehow cleared with APCs) and 1231S. my seniors tell me that it gets better, so if your transfer doesn’t work out, don’t be afraid! thanks accurately depicting the NUS CS experience, it’s really brutal
Hey there! Thank you for the encouraging words🥺 This sem was roughhh, congrats for finishing this tough semester🙌🏼🎉 I’m definitely trying to stay open-minded and mentally prepared no matter what happens (transfer application results aren’t out yet)☺️ Enjoy the holidays and all the best!💪🏼🙏🏼
I just found your channel and am not only loving it but also very grateful for it! This past year I've burned myself out and your videos help bring me calm and clarity. I look forward to more of your content :)
your vlog made me realize that no matter what every student around the world is struggling with finals 😔 i hope, school responsibilities apart, you're doing good and to all the students right there: yes exams are important but remember you're more important! take your time 🤍
🥺❤️ Your comment made my night :’) Thank you for the kind, encouraging words! So true - mental health and wellbeing is really important🙏🏼🙌🏼 I hope you’re doing fine too🥰 Sending love💕
Hey I know you might be thinking so much on how bad you did but no you tried your best, don't go too hard on yourself, I know such things can make you sad but just hang on your amazing work you are doing... getting into NUS is an achievement too🙃🙂❣ so take care and never lose hope..
I'm so excited to watch your videos, Nicole. But, could you make a video about how you can got into NUS? . I'm still 14 but I'm gonna apply NTU and NUS someday in the future. I also love computer science. Thank you so much.
Thank you for making me feel that I'm not alone :) and I hope you understand that your worth ain't in your grades, you did your best and let God do the rest!!
Hi Nicole! Are you an international student or a local? I really wish to study computer science at NUS. I'm from India. Could you give me any tips for increasing my chances to get admitted., Like the grades, extracurricular, etc.? Thank you!
Hey Jasmine! I’m a local student☺️ I think NUS places quite a bit of emphasis on grades so just do your best in school academically👍🏼 It’d be great if you can work on your own coding projects like apps and websites, it’d be helpful to take part in hackathons as well - you can talk about these experiences in the personal statement section of the application☺️👍🏼 All the best!!
@@random-dt1gm hey Jasmine! Even I m from india want to get into NUS cs too... Of u got into NUS cud pls let me know...some tricks and tips.. And u from cbse? Did u give sat and all!? Do let me know tks👍🏻
