I don’t know if you guys did this one already, but here’s my Round suggestion theme: Even The Odds Each player picks two cards, but only the odd numbers from the deck (1,3,5) and then after someone wins a point, the next two cards have to be only even numbers from the deck (2,4), then vice versa.

The way you can do this without the whole wonkiness of, trying to lose but still playing to win, is everybody have someone else they are trying to have lose. They pick their cards for them to try to set them up.
2 1v1's at once. One person picks the worst build they can, hoping to lose, but they aren't playing. Another person is playing and trying to win. Do the same with the other person, having the combo picker trying to lose, but the player trying to win. Two 1v1's at once
My favorite Assassin's Creed is Brotherhood. I used to just start the game and run around tackling civilians...and that's it. I was so heartbroken when the got rid of tackling. I really hate Ubisoft right now though. I bought Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revelation, 3, and 4 (Black Flag) 10-12 years ago through Steam. Because of Ubisoft's game launcher I'm only able to play Assassin's Creed 2. The other games I installed when Ubisoft used Uplay game launcher. At some point when switched to Ubisoft Connect game launcher, my login credentials got erased, so I had to make a new account. Despite me having proof I bought the games, Ubisoft won't help me get access to my other Assassin's Creed games.

I want to talk about Assassin's Creed: Shadows, and how they decided to include Yasuke. I know there's been a lot of hate about him both in Japan and from what I've heard also in America and Europe. Some people are upset because they finally decided to do a game set in Japan, only to use a foreigner. Others are obviously upset because he's black and they can't/won't hide their racism. I know I don't have the most shared perspective, but I really see Yasuke as Japanese. Whether he really did exist in the way described or not, the character as described is certainly Japanese enough: whether slave or servant, brought in alongside a missionary, left, served Nobunaga as a samurai, helped in the fight to unify Japan -- he's as Japanese as Godzilla, at least.
As a MASSIVE history buff, I loved assassins creed until it went all fantasy/rpg. AC3 is a treasure trove of history. Especially for anyone that has visited or lives in the New York area. I really like revolutionary war history so it was great for me. The gameplay in Origins totally lost me though. I only really wanted to walk around Athens and the Parthenon. I didn't even bother with Valhalla, it looked very fantasy viking.
I totally get that the most recent AC games really have gone in a different direction with RPG elements and with a lot more fantasy. IMO, I don't think Origins or Valhalla were that good (especially Valhalla, which I thought was outright bad). But I think Osyessy is incredible, with a pretty amazing world to explore. If you do have any interest in exploring it's ancient greek world, they do have a "Discovery Tour" mode in that game that lets you roam the world without having to deal with any of the other gameplay mechanics, with a lot of locations having narition and additional detail about the history of those locations. What you should do is the winner is the person with the highest unique number of card, i.e if two people have 20 cards, then they both lose. and the persn with 18 cards wins. But Winning the game is important as winning could ensure you have the most. So any card that give you card like jackpot and egg would be much more valuable.
It could be fun if the group choses the 1st card and then the player chooses the 2nd. There's chaos, but the player still has some control. EDIT: Adding that the goal would be to win. I don't enjoy the 'try to fail' games as much.

A better alternative to this might be to aim for 2nd place. That way you guys still need to aim to keep up with first place while balancing not becoming first yourself

So I thought of a theme myself! I don't know how to name it, but here are the details. You play Rounds normally, but you're intentionally trying to make Linda win. That means making builds to slow down the game to a halt. If that happens, all of Stumpt wins. If someone wins, Linda wins, instead.
Storywise, I love Ezio's trilogy the most. I played the very first game, but didn't finish it due to weird control (iirc it used controller icons instead of keyboards?) and no subtitles. Finished AC 2 trilogy, 3, 4 (but not Rogue), Unity in progress, Syndicate not yet. Of the RPG Assassin's Creed, Origins is the only one I 100%ed (and I love Bayek), Odyssey 98%-ish (and I didn't play as Cassandra so there's a reason to revisit it). I played Valhalla for the first three-four hours and I didn't like it, the gameplay is too Souls-like for me (I hate the stamina system) and I feel the map is way too big. I might revisit it again one day if I have more time and willpower to progress and finish. Mirage is still in my wishlist, waiting for sale.
I didn't like Connor because he was one dimensional. Playing as Haytham was more interesting. They were at a point in the series where they could have made the Assassin-Templar conflict more dynamic by playing as a Templar. Instead, we got AC Rogue, which was caught between console generations and had a horrible PC port. Also, I'll still defend the original Assassin's Creed. Obviously the gameplay improved a lot in 2, but the original was designed more around stealth. When I played Odyssey, I ignored the story and just tried to kill all the Spartans because I hate fascism (even proto-fascism), then gave up when they wouldn't let me in to kill the kings.

They're probably using a beta branch build. I recall that being necessary for at least a few updates.
