Hi Michael, just wanted to say thank you so much. I bought an Xbox recently and discovered the disc drive doesn't work. Decided to upgrade the HDD and this tutorial is going to make is possible!
Question: So I have Xbox4gamers Dashboard when the console boots up... If I put in my "Extra's Disc" it shows dashboards as a category. I don't have a MS Dashboard installed for Insignia Live. So is the best thing to do is go to MS Dashboard on Extras Disc, click install, then will it give me a choice to install it as a Application? So then I can install it in the E:Drive? I have only put in the "Extra's Disc" I don't know what I am doing and don't want to screw nothing up. My fear is if I download the MS Dashboard and reboot that it will boot to the MS Dashboard and not Xbox4gamers Dashboard ? My goal is the Xbox to boot up to Xbox4gamers Dashboard then I go to Applications, click MS Dashboard and it will then boot that way to MS Dashboard.. then I can install the Insignia Live Disc and follow the instructions on that disc to get it up and running correctly. Please help, and thank you!!
Sorry I dont have all the answers but I will say that MS Dashboard the original one goes on C drive, if you don't have it I can send you mine maybe? IDK how dashboards work though since I am new to it to with my own questions xD
