Is nodal plane available for d orbital

Hi Sharmi,
It would depend on the 'type' of d orbital. In general, for most d-orbitals, yes, we do have nodal planes. The dz2 orbital will have a nodal surface. If we replace the word plane with 'surface', then every d orbital will have two nodal surfaces each.
