Great video! I've been looking for a tutorial like this. Some tips from someone who uses dyes frequently: Be sure to use a pot and a spoon that you won't use for cooking afterwards! You don't want your dinner tasting like RIT lol. Also be sure to use a pot that won't react with the dye. I learned that the hard way, when the beautiful yarn I was dyeing orange turned a bright blue-green because of copper in the pot!

Thank you for your videos with dark skinned bjds! I've been struggling to find skintones that aren't super milky white and I will be dying some to get the skintone I want. This was super helpful!
What a gorgeous and natural-looking result!! I've been struggling to find a good sculpt in the right skin tone to shell a character of mine and have considered just dyeing one; your result makes me think it's possible! I can't wait to see her with her full faceup, she's such a beautiful sculpt I'm sure she'll be a beautiful character in the end!

Dyeing bjds really do mske them look shaded in general like it gives the resin textures! I'm planning on also dyeing my very first bkd I will have for a character I created in game. He has darker skin and I wnat to go for the warm color you firsy dyed your head in. Perhaps a little darker but that would do. I'll have to wait on a body afterwards before deciding though.

Holy s**t gorgeous!!!! I'd prefer to airbrush though. All types of brown skin, I love the varieties of ethnic colors there are esp the shades of brown- hard when your looking for make up. Trying to find your pigment shade is actually EXPENSIVE and a pain) It's a really sad crime to have to go through a lot to get a bjd with your skin color consider that Asians are..CLEARLY biased and controversial confusing as to skin color- let alone they do not appear to accept their own ethnic color- news flash Asians do not have caucasisn nipples-bizarre. They are as pretty as every ethnic race yet selling an image thays not there's but white is an in issue that not psychological normal. As am otaku of anime I'll never except that dillusion. Its " weird" Anywho I digressed. Also what's classified as " normal skin" ? How about default skin and its caucasian skin NOT Asian. Incorrect undertones. Love the video and I'd think.you should make money on the side and send you my dolls to dye!
