I’m one of the folks in the guild. And all I gotta say is that this is a beautiful piece. I’m blown away and touched that Thunderfist would do this for us. Rush, keep up the amazing work. And shout out to Thunderfist: a good bean.
(A/N: *_bangs head on desk._* ) Near silent footsteps made their way to the edge of the lake towards the island awaiting them, dawn breaking the grey skies apart with hues of yellow and orange. The dragon resting upon their destination wearily looked on at the adventurer who stared at their destination strong enough that he knew they saw it. He emitted a deep sigh that rippled the waters miles below him, and beat his wings, exhaustion clinging with each movement as he made his way to land near where the adventurer stood. “I suppose you are here to answer the Call of the Prophecy?” Ragged was the dragon’s voice as they gazed at the next adventurer to fall after seas of thousands. They nodded once, and the Guardian shook his head. “You’ve given this much thought, haven’t you? You would not rather go back to whatever home you hailed from than fight my master?” His features transformed in an imitation of hope, the emotion misplaced in the dragon’s shattered eyes. After all, the adventurer still had time to refuse. He didn’t have to watch another warrior be cut down by his master. They could just go back home. A silent shake of the head and a piercing stare was all he needed to extinguish the hope that burst inside him for a brief moment. The dragon looked back towards the temple devoted to his master, made specifically for, _”Sacrifices for the greater good,”_ as his master called them. The dragon just knew them as slaughters. Neither of them tried to feign emotion, their face impassive as always, and the dragon adopting a monotone as he repeated a phrase meaningless to him by now. “Very well, adventurer. I do hope that you will be the first to succeed.” They bowed their head in thanks, and watched as the dragon flew up to curl around the mountain instead of the tower where their opponent waited. They stood there staring a moment more at where their journey would end one way or another. They drew their sword, and inhaled deeply. They were ready. Of course they had to be. They couldn’t afford to be anything but. If they had a wish to survive and win, they had to be ready. They had so much depending on them to do this, to _win._ They were absolutely, one hundred percent... In their defense, is anyone really ready? They started walking towards the bridge. They would reach the town by midday at this pace. The grass crinkled underneath their feet, meticulous steps shifting to a run. The dragon made no movement as it blended with the mountain it made its perch. Running strides moving faster and faster, mirrored in the clear lake beside them. Their cloak billowing behind them, brown hair with it. Heaving breaths erupted from their body. The only sound that could’ve been heard within hundreds of miles. _Step. Step. Step._ _Racing into the courtyard, the younger adventurer fell into line with the others in front of their mentor. Avis elbowed them lightly for being last, and after a quick glare, they both focused on what was being spoken in front of them._ _”Now, all of you were chosen here because it has been revealed that every one of you are candidates to answer the Call of the Prophecy.” Their mentor stood in front of them, warning in xyr eyes. “Keep in mind, the Call is not a mission of glory. Such a shame it is that one would be an unnamed warrior among thousands when what they could’ve been makes their so-called “destiny” pale in comparison. Fate is forever bitter of that and the thousands of other lives that were thrown off course because of the Call. They stopped at the entrance of the bridge. Wary, they slowly made their way across. Their eyes shifted left and right as they continued their trek. They didn’t show that they saw the former red now copper stains on the sides of the path. They stepped over a trip wire barely glinting in the sun, and tried to ignore the remains littered next to them. _”The Call is a challenge sent to the Seven Cities, right?” A nod of affirmation from xem made their friend continue. “It’s to fighters of any kind to face off against a champion. And, it’s to the death.”_ _”That’s right, Avis. Is there anything else about the Call that you know?” Xe were met with gazed focused on their feet and head shakes. Their mentor forced their mouth into a straight line. “Well, I suppose that none of the Cities would tell you much else, would they? Very well, that’s all you should know about the Call. Today, I tell you about the one who sent it.”_ They waved their blade low in front of them, testing the ground to be sure that they would not fall prey to traps. After all, they had to succeed, for it they didn’t the world would have to wait decades more for other warriors to be chosen to answer the Call. Much like their first day, they were the last to arrive. _”There have been many tales and rumors said about the sender. Some are bound to be true, just as some are bound to be false. Being able to know which is which, while also gathering new knowledge when you face them, is essential to beating them.”_ They stopped at the midway point, and scanned the path in front of them. Then looked behind them. Frowning, they glanced back at the pavement in front of them, brighter than the ones before it and not even the smallest pebble lay on it. _”One thing that is for certain correct is that the Sender will try and end you before you even make it to the temple. Pay attention to your surroundings, and be suspicious of everything.”_ They mouthed the words drilled into their head by their instructor, and took a few paces back to grab a bone from a nearby corpse. They hurled it onto the brick, and in a blink the path opened and the bone fell into who knows where. Within the second, the path closed, and resumed feigning its safety. They stared at their problem for a while, before their eyes drifted to the side walk where it shared the same faded color as the path before them. With common sense, they slowly walked a few meters to the left, and threw a bone at it as well. Seeing how it didn’t open up into an abyss after the first few minutes, they walked on it until the path shifted back into its normal color with scattered remains of corpses here and there. They reached the end of the bridge, the rest of their walk uneventful. A faded white arch greeted them as they entered the town below the temple. The deafening silence filled their ears, stillness driving them more on edge as the seconds passed on. Their sword was out in front of them, their throwing knives strapped across their chest. Breathing heavily, they meticulously made their way through the streets. It wasn’t long before they reached the first of the statues. _”There have been whispers heard describing a similar fate that the sender deals to many of those who face off against them.” Their instructor paced in front of xyr students, fiddling with a throwing knife as xyr steps filled the silence of the room. “Some say that the sender occasionally decides to spare the lives of the challengers. That on days where they feel merciful, they let my warriors live.”_ _Small, almost silent gasps came from the group as some relaxed that even if they didn’t win, it’d be of no extreme consequence to them. A murmur built up among them as they sunk the information in._ _”Do you think that the Sender would spare us?” They looked back at Avis beside them, and shrugged their shoulders. Even if they could speak, they didn’t know if they could’ve done more than that._ _”Yes, there have been multiple different sources saying this, all at different times. But-“ Xe held the knife motionless in xyr hands, scanning every one of the students-“remember, I told you that none of my students had a body left to bury. Almost all of the sources say that those they let live, their essence is stolen away from them and placed inside cages of earth and stone.”_ Horror and nausea overtook their emotions as they took in the widened gaze, hands tangled in hair and frozen in a silent scream. The body hunched over barely coming up to their stomach. They dropped their sword and covered their mouth with their hands, letting their guard down.

I can feel the dramatic sunset/sunrise/thunderstorm scene in which the hero either rises from his knees and looks accomplished in the silhouetted foreground or the camera does a massive pan over the battle field leaving the centered focus of the hero's corpse and cutting into the end credits.
Hi, I'm an aspiring music maker, and I just wanted to say that your are my biggest inspiration, I look at so many channels... but none come close to being as strong in emotion as you are. You're music rocks the very foundation of my soul... it reminds me of what it's like to be in love with something so non-important... that's why i love music, it doesn't matter at all in the big picture, but it still does somehow make a difference. I Just wanted to let you, and everyone who watches your content, that music is quite possible the best thing on earth.
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard; 20 seconds in and my eyes were already filled with tears. It always blows me away when instrumental music gets me so emotional, but in a way it's not surprising; orchestral music like this just speaks to the heart. I can tell that so much soul was poured into this.
Another amazing song. I want to say that you and your songs have been a massive inspiration. I'm currently trying to learn how to compose orchestral and symphonic songs. I'll be going to a uni that'll help me with this as well, but you've been one of the biggest inspirations to try and make this my career so thanks for everything and I can't wait for your next song! :3
Honestly if you’re looking for a banger mix for games or even anime this is the best channel for it. As for my request; has anyone played Octopath Traveler? It’s a amazing game that I recently got into and has a killer soundtrack for a JRPG, it caught my attention on how the style game was and it felt very unique to play.
Your work is amazing, it must take so much time to compose some of these. Like several other people have said it would be great to hear your music in a movie or a video game. Tracks like this I feel fit in a movie more but in a video game I could imagine it being in a xenoblade esk game either in a cutscene or a special event.
I swear that with every new commission you make you get even better! I absolutely loved this the moment it started playing. Keep up the good work Rush, one day you might even make music for video games or movies!
WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TORTURE US SO MUCH?!? D.; I’d listen 25/7 to this much awesomeness.. but there is only one album on Spotify/iTunes. It’d be epic if you could ‘publish’ more of your songs there ^-^ But for real: super epic pice, again! Thank you soo much!! Keep up the good work ^^ Cya

this is amazing!! One of these days I want to try to make an animatic to one of your songs, but I've never done anything like that before so I wouldn't really know where to start.
My gosh your orchestrations are getting better each day, its blessing to the ears Hope to earn more money and finish up my project quickly so I can just commission a music orchestration from you aaAA
Nice song Rush! I'm always excited to hear your songs! I recommend doing a Tales of Vesperia track because the game comes out again on Friday. Keep up the good work!
Rush, how do you make your songs? I really want to get started, where would be a good place? I'm in every band I can possibly be in high school and I really want to be able to compose as well. Right now I'm using MuseScore and it works for now but what do you do? Do you actually record all your music? What software do you use to compose? I don't think you'll respond but if you do that'd help a lot.
It's a bit late coming from me, but he said a while ago he uses FL Studio (I'm also learning how to compose orchestral so same boat buddy). Personally I think FLs User Interface is a bit crowded but when using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) it's up to the user. As for instruments I'm pretty sure he uses VSTs which are basically plugins that can either be instruments or synthesizers. A good tip for composing (which you probably already know) is always practice it, even random improvisation can help, and know your chords/scales (I don't know my scales well so practicing :P). also Musescore is great hands-down. not realistic when it comes to sound or the movements of certain instruments (like the violin is a bit too sharp when changing notes) but it's great when recording things in a DAW is to difficult to get ideas down. Hope this isn't too late and helps bud :3
Rush, you're going to see your name in the credits of a movie or video game someday. I swear.
I eagerly look forward to that day.

Rush, can you tell me what sample or VST you used in all of your projects.

how would I get a commission piece?
@@TheSkydimonds, thanks so much. It isn't too late and I'll keep that in mind, thanks.
