The way I see it is if Gordon avgs 16 off the bench if he was starting he would avg 19-21 points. How can 2k have the nerve to say a 20 points a game scorer is only a 76. Even though I'm a 2k guy Live does have more accurate ratings. Gordon is definitely an 83 maybe even as high as 85. What people don't understand is that 2k gives a lot of guys 75s and 76s,77s and all that and gamers seem to think 76 is good but if you play season mode the computer won't let a player sniff the court even in garbage time for a whole season if they are a under a 75. So by 2k's standards they think Eric Gordon barely deserves to even sniff an NBA court. 2k has good graphics and gameplay and modes but don't know shit about basketball.
Jason Cherry I’m a big rockets fan and you’re going over the top there. If you didn’t realize, Gordon has been starting since Paul got injured. I’ve kept up with pretty much every rockets game this season and while Gordon has been starting he’s either really hot or really cold. A player that is an 85 overall is consistent. I believe he’s a 79-80 player.
@@frogboi6590 a player that averages 16 should be at least 82 overall period point blank. I look at things differently because I played a whole season (12 minute quarters) on 2k about 3 years ago. I edited the ratings/tendecies to what I thought they should be and I saw some stuff that's others mightve not seen. I noticed that basically most players who were an 85 overall avg about 14-16 points at season's end. Players who were a about a 75 overall averaged about 6-8 points a game . Players who were a 92 overall avg about 21-24 points a game. I gave Lebron the highest rating at 98 and he avg 28 points (like real life) I gave KD a 97 and he avg 27 points. I also noticed that the CPU didn't give any player under a 75 overall a sniff of the court. They didn't even use them in garbage time for the whole season. When I would fix their rating a little to make them a 75 the CPU put them in the game. When I put them back to a 74 they got a DNP. So as you can see 2ks rating system is weird because they give a lot of players 75-77 overall and gamers think thats pretty good because 2k has way higher standards than NBA Live. Earlier today I said Carmelo should be an 84 and someone commented hes avg only 13 points so he should be 78. But in season mode 84 overall players avg 14 points. When 2k gives a player a 73 their basically saying they don't deserve to even sniff the court, but gamers think a 73 overall player is a decent role player.
I also noticed 2k is more generous with the ratings on the all time teams. 2k gave a prime Chris Mullin a 91 on the 1991 Warriors throwback team but on the all time warriors team he's a 94. They gave everyone basically a 2-3 point overall boost on the all time teams. I don't know why.
and in this video since they gave Jalen Brunson a 70 he wouldn't see the court at all in season mode. We can use him of course in a game against our friends but that's it. The CPU will use only 8-10 players and have tired players instead of using Jalen Brunson in season mode.
The Grayson Allen one you’re right, but you said Jalen Brunson scoring numbers were impressive for his minutes but Grayson plays around 3 minutes a game and isn’t warmed up because he only comes in in garbage time
I personally think live is better because it is so exaggerated and you never know what’s going to happen in franchise mode, and the one is very fun to play.
