Poor Sonix. Wins his first major and the crowd just leaves. But when you play a lame character in a lame way you become the bad guy. God I am so glad I don't play ultimate anymore. The tech advancements have just gone to playing steve lame or sonic lame. This is why I love melee. Its a much higher skill ceiling and very few players play lame. Even the most notorious time out player, hbox, is starting to play more hype.
The fact Esam has only won like 2 majors while playing a top tier shows esam is not a great player. People act like he is amazing. No he has just been around forever. He is the most inconsistent "top" ultimate player. I think its time we stop treating him like a top player. He belongs in the same tier as Fatality. I was going to say maister and myran as well but they generally do better. Hell MVD is a better overall player.
