A logic high to pin 13 will initiate the self test feature. Turn the MMA7361 upside down to create a -1G output on the Z axis. Applying a high to pin 13 will cause a +1G output. This verifies the mechanical and electronic sections of the MMA7361. A electrostatic charge is applied to the axis to simulate g forces.

Generally speaking people out here will not do homework. When you do ask a question be very specific then someone may answer. ie " i get the circuit diagram ? " This may mean something to you but no one out here has a clue.

I want to know that when actually sesnor responds for free fall ? That is in air or after cooking to ground ?
In the air while falling with only gravity acting on the sensor.

Sir , at gselect port only discrete ranges are applied or we can apply any range that we want. Thanks : )
Only two discrete ranges can be selected. +/- 1.5 and +/- 6 g.
