That and they're probably just trying to hold us over while they work on something bigger, like the bee update coming before the nether update. So this honestly makes me more exided than anything

They also added the recipe for nametags, which is also actually pretty cool, but I also kinda liked how before you had to actually explore the world to get some items, now you can craft some of the most relevant uncraftable items! Like, the saddle, and now the name tag(also made the recipe for the lead easier, now only needing strings, so you don't need to go after slimes to make it now), it made them more unique. Of course, I'll use that recipe a lot, it's gonna make it so much easier, but I just liked how before they were harder to get, now you only need a leather and an iron ingot to make the saddle(which could easily be done in like, less than 10 minutes), and one string and one metal ingot(which could also be done in like 10 minutes).
In the speed frame i spotted two blurred baby mobs. 0:40 a single frame of what i assume is a baby strider but i could be mistaken, another a few frames in the mountains a orange blurred baby mob, a yellow blurred mon, also im only mention the ones that dont have their parent in frame so im not sure.

that will never happen. Jeb even said that he wanted to rename the egg to something else but didn't do it cuz it breaks stuff when someone was asking if there is a male dragon and stuff like that. So the egg is not canonically a thing and will never get an in-game use
They're asking for our IDs to enable age verification, which ultimately makes the internet safer. They also allow AI face scanning for those who don't want to give IDs. And it's only in the places where the government mandates it. People really complaining over everything Minecraft does.

This is the main problem when they did the game drop things. They have to have an update every quarter or so, which forces them to shell out nothing burger updates just for the sake of having updates. If they returned to their old update schedule, it would be absolutely amazing since they have plenty of time to develop new major features.
