I've been using 0.05% tret around my eyes for over 6 months and I can already see the fine lines diminished.
Wow :O I was kinda scared to do this but now I'm willing to do it. Did it get worse 1st before it got better? Also did you apply a very very very light layer on your eye lids as well? Thank you.
@@gabriellanoelle1606 Yes, I do apply on the eyelid too. It got pretty irritating at first and there was a bit of peeling too. The skin got a bit pink ocasionally from the irritation so what I would do is stop applying it there until it stopped being irritated. I applied such a tiny amount, just a tiny dot on the lid and a tiny dot under the eye, and would spread it by tapping around gently. If you're going to do this please be very careful and don't get it way too close to the eye. Of course, sun protection and sunglasses will be mandatory. Good luck
Did you experience flaking when starting tretinoin? I've been using 0.025% for almost 8 months and still get flaky skin on my chin and temples. I apply it at night, apply after moisturizer, and give 4 or 5 days break between each use.
I've been using 0.05% tret for over half a year too . No irritation at all☺️ and no flaking on my face even though I use it every day. But so far my skin looks kind of thinner than before 😐 will continue but I really hope that I won't regret it ??😐😅

Thanks for the info! I enjoy the Hylamide SubQ Skin from Deciem. I prefer it to the original Buffet because it is lighter but I find it equally hydrating.

Can we use the NIOD FECC with Vitamin C or tretinoin/retinol? I've read that we shouldn't mix peptides with antioxidants as they might decrease the efficacy of the peptides, would really love your insight on this Cyrille! Thank you! 🧡
Hello under retinol yes. On top of vitamin C also but the low pH may disturb some of the peptides. I’m not sure of it.

Retinols or tretinoide on top eyelid can be dangerous my derm told me that.
I use only the tiniest bit (dab the left over tretinoide from face) on my brow bone and it’s fine

Hello 👋🏻 it is not dangerous but can irritate the skin. It depends on the person and on your tolerance. Start very slowly with retinol. Most people can tolerate it
Can I use the Ordinary serum all over my face?

A "buffet" is a way of serving a meal with multiple dishes where guests can pick and choose. I would imagine that The Ordinary choose this word for their serum because it contains multiple peptides that they chose to incorporate in one serum.
