Two of the North of England’s finest musical exports, as well as long-time friends of Defected, the career paths of Melé and Bontan have often run parallel. Both rising through the vibrant musical scene of Liverpool, and often appearing together on prestigious line-ups, including an all-night-long fabric b2b, they have also carved out impressive solo careers as producers in their own right. Their adept production skills are demonstrated no better than with their latest release ‘Take Control’, featuring Brighton vocalist Clementine Douglas.
