In the end seeing Finn face reaction when Chris stood up for him was very touching. He hasn’t had anyone done that for him in a long time and he was very surprised that out of all the people who stood for him it was a teacher. A teacher who he put through lot of trouble in two different schools.
A couple of things stick out as being really strange here. Firstly, how did Chris manage to get to that exact part of a massive beach by car so soon after Finn and Amy got there by train? The train would get them there much quicker because there'd be no traffic compared to the roads and ecen then there is no way Chris would just so happen to be at the exact same part of the beach as them. Secondly, how can Chris say he dosent know Finns dad after all the grief he went through with Finn at his last school? Normally when a teacher has that much aggravation from the same pupil the school has a meeting with the parents where they talk with said teacher.
Lol. What do you mean "so soon"? The scenes don't follow each other in real time. There is an implied gap during which he would have gotten to the beach and found the spot. It could have been seeveral hours during which Finn and Amy were just chilling there. Finn's dad clearly wasn't the "normally" concerned type. His folks were entirely career-driven and neglectful. So it makes sense that Chris wouldn't have even met him prior to this - or even if he had, that doesn't amount to knowing him, does it now? Use yer noggin kiddo.
From my guess, Finn has had a troubled life feeling neglected from his parents (he’s had to learn to grow up)… hasn’t had the love. His parents are snobs and always in business meetings etc, never had time for him. When they told him they’re moving to LA he lost it completely and wanted to be a huge part of Amy’s life in which they never understood. I do feel for him in this scene and when he lashed out, breaks down in front of Mr Mead… the hard exterior is cracked and inside Finn he’s a boy who is sadly depressed and neglected 😔😔😔😔
Did I miss something in this storyline? What "trauma" did Finn suffer at that beach as a much younger kid to make him want to go back to it and take his own life there, as well as Amy's? As much of a btch Amy was earlier on, he has no right to risk her life as well as his, even if they're lovers!

@micahhill4786 do you think things improved with Finn and his parents we don’t see them again after this?

I think you just have to suspend your disbelief with the first one. It's the only way the plot would work, unrealistic as it is.

So, you would rather watch a 3-4 hour film, solely dedicated to Chris on a train or driving?

He's a spoiled little brat, that's what's up.
I think it’s just bc he felt neglected
Who'd want to live to see Waterloo Road turned into Wokerloo Road?
Mummy and daddy don't pay enough attention to him. That's all really. Like Chris said, nothing anyone does is enough for him.
@@Anu_Sol think the point is those that really should have been there weren't
I made an edit of this scene on my channel
The police will take them home
Finn was a horrible person in Season 5.
This storyline was dumb
