The singers are the ghostriders playing the red dead redemption characters. This was the first "Here we go", it's usually "c'mon" or "yeah". "Here we go" hit me harder. I think it reminded me of Todd Beamer's "Let's roll" on Flight 93 on 9/11. Geoff and Voiceplay create a karaoke version for their patrons. Usually for the last year or so, that's what's playing during the outro.
Isn't this great! Thanks for another reaction to Geoff's solo work! Geoff has said that these are the ghost riders while living and that he didn't show up and just let his clones do this performance LOL. Geoff used the same beards and costumes from the Ghost Riders video. If you read the video description, Geoff wrote, "...this felt like the perfect opportunity to bring the riders back." From what he wrote below the credits, it doesn't sound like he has played the game. Geoff usually says "come on" instead of "here we go." That was Kathy helping Geoff with the costumes as she does for VP. She is an integral part of all that they do. Looking forward to your reaction to Geoff's "Sound of Silence."
Did you see VoicePlay's announcement yesterday that they are now being considered for a Grammy nomination for "Hellfire" too? So, two of their releases are being considered at this point; one a Layne arrangement and the other Geoff's. So happy for the VP guys to get more recognition.
Unshaken Again! Oh who am I kidding, I've not getting tired of this song anytime soon! Great reaction and I see Mini Realistic appears to be getting a lot more comfortable in front of the camera.
This song gets better every time I listen to it! And yes, she's getting much more comfortable. I think it's helping her to come out of her shell a bit. She's silly and goofy with me, but is much more introverted around other people.
@@MrsRealistic THAT, (last point) I can totally empathize with. Speaking in front of groups, no problem for me. Being on camera, though, that’s an entirely different beast. I don’t know why…
I believe the Geoffs in this video are (L to R): Goff, Daryl, Jeoph, and Jeff. This is a different order than you saw them in Ghost Riders, which was Jeff, Daryl, Goff, and Jeoph. Jeoph was the member in GR who had most of the non-Geoff solo work, and while he had a majority of it here as well, Daryl got some solo work here too. Jeff is the clean-shaven one, Daryl wears the leather duster, Jeoph is the "fancy" one in mostly black, and Goff is the easy one to pick out - he's the only lefty in the bunch. As for the costumes - Geoff's wife (and production manager) Kathy is in charge of most of the costuming, and she keeps all of the costumes used in these types of videos, so they can be reused if/when needed. While there may be some minor tweaks to the costumes, they remain basically the same from one video to another. For Phoenix's question about the lady at the end: yes, that is Geoff's wife Kathy. Long black hair, and about a foot shorter than Geoff! Seeing them "dance" together in Monster Mash is really kind of funny!
Come On!! Geoff did Ghost Riders In The Sky with these 4 clones and himself. 3 years ago when he did "Monster Mash" his choreographer and former member Bucky Buckner suggested he do this song. So Geoff added it to his to-do list. Last year he decided to do this song and came up with the idea that the 4 clones from Ghost riders would sing it before they died and had to chase cattle across the sky. So this is not the characters from the game. They are clones of himself from a different video. The words do fit them very well. As reference. Left to right... Geoff - tenor. Daryl - baritone. Jeoph - bass. Jeff - tenor. This is one of my lullabies.
I have watched my brother play RDR2. There are some similarities, but not enough to identify any of the clones as any particular character from the game. These four could easily be inserted into the game and fit right in. I have seen the part of the game that this song came from and it made me cry. (Character death) Geoff's usual phrase is "Come on" so "Here we go" was a surprise.
Just for reference, the clones got their names in his cover of Way Down (Jeff, Jeoph, and Goff). He put them in as a fun joke about people on YT constantly pronouncing his name wrong. The clone named Daryl was introduced in Ghost Riders and seen here (the one in the long tan jacket).
Yes - that's because of the way Geoff set this one up. The song/video is Red Dead Redemption 2. It was too good an opportunity to pass on with them looking a lot like the Ghost Riders which was way before the ever dreamed of RDR2. To me, Unshaken is so pertinent in this world now, between our politics, Russians trying to steal Ukraine, Israel defending itself from Hammas last year, but not excluding the innocent Palestinians and now the 2 hurricanes that destoyed so much in the south. . It rattles my brain. Yes that is Kathy who is Geoff's wife as well as both his and VoicePlay's production manager. If you do Folsom Prison Blues you will see that they rented a real prison, and the people who were there to let them in asked where's the rest of the crew. Geoff said "We're it." and started to work - just Kathy and him. The prison was disbanded about 4 yrs ago and was sold eventually for someone to set it up for an algae farm. Phoenix makes a nice addition!
His range is insane... the highest he has sung on a recording is the "Peaches" mini. Reactors usually choose 3-5 minis and do a reaction on them. Their minis are amazing. "Sound of Silence" is beautiful... I also like "High and Dry" (Radiohead), "Ain't no Sunshine" and "Man of Constant Sorrow" by Geoff. 🌹🕊
Yes before they died. L to R are clones Goff, Daryl, Jeoph and Jeff. Geoff sat this one out and left Daryl in charge. Geoff says come on and here we go.
Actually, considering that Geoff is also known to be a big gamer, both may be true. He may have patterned the ghost riders after red dead characters and this be them before they died.
@@MrsRealistic yeah. Check out Voiceplay rendition of the Halo theme and wait for the dedication at the end. The ft. singer Scott Porter (another past member of the group) talks about what an important thing gaming was to them, especially when they were on the road touring.

Aha! Now that makes sense! it's a two-fer! Wow, you got me with the "Let's roll" from flight 93...that hit me hard.
@@MrsRealistic Sorry about that, but it's what I heard every time.
"Unshaken?" No, more like "Um, SHAKEN!"💙
Right?!

I don’t think I’ve seen Mini Realistic smile so much! Silently singing along, swaying to the tune…yeah, I’d say this was a good pick!
She LOVES this song... and truly loves music... but I think she's also getting more comfortable with being on camera 😉😄

Also, he *does* have a cover of sound of silence
Yes, we just reacted to the sound of silence 😊👍
2:46 “Come on”? He definitely says it in seven nation army but also pretty sure others too?
