I just order a set for my '15 CBR600RR from motosport.com. i bought my bike used (only 5300 miles on it) the previous owner put shitty aftermarket levers that are all floppy and loose feeling.... my winter maintenance is turning more into mods along with maintenance... New afam -1 +2 sprockets, EK chain, quick shifter, gear indicator, and now some piug levers.
Thanks! - Glad you found it helpful. I really enjoy these Puig levers. The reach is very much so closer on the 1-3 settings than the stock levers. I lately have been leaving them on the 3 or 4 setting for comfort and using two fingers for operation.
Thinking of getting these, as they are a more affordable option than CRG or ASV. Currently I have cheap eBay levers that has been fine for a couple of years, but they do fit poorly (extremely loose wiggling). How are you liking them so far?
I've been riding the bike for a few months now with the Puig levers and really enjoy them. They seem WAY sturdier when riding then they initially did when I installed and noticed they wiggled a bit. I haven't bothered to put a spacer/washer in the mount at this point because I haven't noticed the wiggle at all while riding. Only thing, is that I'll probably put some grease on the moving parts soon. Otherwise I really love these levers!
Just got these in for my Desert Sled and as i was making sure everything is good to go i realized the spring was not included in my adapter or the lever. Was it included with yours if you remember?
@@AZScrambler Thanks! That confirms for me that it does come with the adapter. After not seeing it in the lever box I was looking close when I opened the adapter. Did the garage floor crawl for a half hour!
Evan Balbier yep, stock Desert Sled bars. I've removed the cross brace since this video was created. You can see how that looks in my more recent videos!
Thanks for the video and extended comments. Looking for exactly levers for my ktm790 duke. Hopefully i am as happy as you!!!
Highly appreciated! Excellent video, thank you!
Glad it helped!
Great vid. Many thanks for posting and showing install
thanks you you save me!!! ^^
GREAT! Thanks a lot! It was really helpful!
Did you take the brass fitting out of the stock levers and put it into the new levers? It's the "shim" you're looking for.

Nice vid! How is the reach with these new levers? Are they significantly closer at setting "1" comparing to the stock ones?

@@AZScrambler Awesome! Ordered these today. Yes, should definitely grease things up, don't want levers to seize up.
Were you able to shim them and get them to a point that you were happy with?

It sure was, in the adapter kit. Bummer dude, hopefully your supplier can get you a replacement sent out super quick!
