So just to add for everyone to know: You CANNOT buy a vehicle and then upgrade it. I did this with the elegy and when I came back I called my mechanic and only had the regular Elegy. You cannot previously store a vehicle in the garage prior to doing this glitch. The best cars to find are the Karin sultan and almost any of the single cab Lowriders. Also for anyone asking you just need to have a character that still has access to the little talking cutscene when you drive into Benny’s Edit: You cannot have any other vehicles in any garages so it does need to be a fresh account. Also you need a new character if you’re grinding because of sell limit
does the daily sell limit only apply to the characters that have sold a vehicle? can you ignore it if you just delete the character that has recently sold a vehicle?

Guys if you’re having trouble that the mechanic doesn’t have the car you got off the streets. Make sure you buy insurance on it because if you don’t, it wont show up.
I am level 120, but it didnt allow me to upgrade the bennys car, until I bought and aparment..., after disconecting internet and coming back, my money was spent...

Just did it 3 times back to back on ps4 also you don't need to make a new character every time. Every time I came back to bennys he gave me his speech like I had never been there

Just look at how long these videos are and how often unnecessary information is repeated. How often the term glitch is used etc. You could tell what you have to do in 30 seconds. Reels are watched much more often and generate much more reach, so for publicity reasons it would be better to create short reels about something like this. But then you can't repeat 40 times in 8 minutes how good and great this glitch is. Funnily enough, they don't tell you right at the beginning what it's about. Take this green car, then drive at this street until this corner, then take the other car, then this an that and JUST then we start with the nessesary things to do the glitch. And you just have to spent 1 Million GTA$ (those who watching this video have ~60.000 GTA$). I mean look at this video. 6:45 minutes are useless information. Find a car, modify it, disconnect internet, reconnect, get the car from the mechanic and sell it. Could be a 30s video.
Just tried. Idk if it worked. I actually closed gta v after disconnecting network. Only because I couldn’t log into an invite only server. It gave me my money back, but I when I tried to call my mechanic I didnt have it. May try again.
this does not work on xbox one used the same car and everything and there was nothing for my mechanic to bring me, but I had my money back. it does very much work for Xbox one you have to make sure you go to an invite only session

It works if U perform it exactly like in the video but can U repeat this glitch without switching characters and deleting them ( so basically just finding a new Benny's vehicle and upgrading it, than stacking it all in a garage and sell them all at once?)

Same here, plus the glitch didn't work for me in the end. The ONLY step I couldn't follow was the upgrade to make it a lowrider. I'm on PC.
