Alyssa also doesn’t feel like ND is worth the hype. I bought her the $125 safari palette for Christmas one year….it sucked so bad. She threw it away. It was her fantasy palette but it didn’t preform. 😢☹️
Yes please let's do a part two!! Ugh...we all have purchase regrets so I feel your pain. I try not to be too influenced by YT and the hype that some products get. Some of mine are Huda Beauty Amythest Obsession because I didn't realize at the time it was made in China while her larger palettes are made in Italy. Also, the Too Faced Born This Way natural nudes I think it's called? Those dry, dusty shades leaned too warm on me. Used once and it's been sitting ever since!! I also have the UD Naked Cherry which was a real letdown...☹️ Yay Trace at the end!! He was a sleepy pup that day 🤣🐶🥰
Oooh yes the Amethyst Obsessions-I kept that one for a long time only because I loved the light purple metallic, but the mattes were also very dry. Huda’s large palettes are wonderful! I love her new one, but I’m not sure about all the yellow golds. It’s too bad the Too Faced palette was a letdown too! It could have been such a pretty neutral every day palette. Also, I FINALLY got the ND Retro-definitely not a let down! 😍
It's not what I was hoping for personally, I would have preferred earthy toned greens. However, I think in terms of being a "retro" palette, the color story is perfect. The sea greens are very fitting and I like the addition of the cooler tones from the Glam palette. I don't see myself picking it up though. How about you?? I swatched her new Dream palette in Sephora shortly after it was released--that ones more my style!
Actually, I always saw the darker shades in Mini Retro as grey. And I was confused why other people talk about them as green. It's one of my favourite smaller palettes.
I swear some swatches appear green, but in person (and definitely on my lids) they’re grey. I wonder if I would have appreciated the palette more had I expected the grey because the formula and performance was beautiful!
I enjoyed hearing your thoughts!🥰
I've never been interested in a single Huda palette. I got one in an Ipsy once, and I sold it haha. But you know I love my Mini Retro ;).
I know you do…I was thinking thinking of you while I was editing that part! 😆 I really wanted to love it!

Wow you were on point
Thank you for watching!

@@itsCaseyWilson_Beauty nope I'm not getting it. Not my color story at all.
