I'm with you - I want everyone to sit down, listen and be respectful at concerts. I hate when everyone is carrying on and you can't actually hear whoever you are there to hear. That was fun - it's interesting hear people's answers as I think they will vary by someone's age - and some not so much!
Love this tag! I remember the big league chewing gum and jerky cans! 🤣 Being from the south we used to always want to be "cool" like our dads and grandpas growing so all of us kids thought we were so tough when we had those! 🤣🤣
I love all the old school 80s movies. Dirty dancing was one of my favorites. I also watched all the old school cartoons everyday before school and Saturday morning ones too. For old school music my first concert was Jimmy Buffett when I was in elementary school. I wish I could see new kids on the block but no one I know likes them. I also loved Reese's and m&m as a kid, still do.
Thank you so much for the tag. I loved this video you smiled so much and seeing your remember such happy times warmed my heart. ❤❤❤ I loved jolly rancher sticks and Sixlets when I was a kid!
Trends always repeat themselves, I had my hair in a pony tail on the side when I grew up in the 60's, my mom would curl my hair and then I have some kind of big bow on the side. I also remember wearing bell bottoms as a kid, that was the fashion trend early 70's. I remember when dirty dancing came out I rented the movie over and over again My crushes were Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy. Bobby Sherman used to be in a tv show Here comes the Brides. that was my favorite show back then.
I will answer a few. The candy one, well they still make the things I ate except for a Christmas candy. It was hard with different fillings. I was a child of the 50s and always read. Books on horses mostly. Then vampire books. I collected model horses and postcards and I still have both collections. I was a flower child in the 60s, so bell bottoms and bells.
Oh! Christmas candies! You just reminded me of a bunch I never see now. I remember some read ones with a kind of filling but the outside was hard and a lot of other fun hard candies from Christmas! 😁
Estherjane here. What fun. Out of all the challenges I have seen you do it seems like you are excited for this one the most😊. Only one answer to a question. Cartoons: Tom and Jerry and The Roadrunner😂
Great answers, Storm! I still love Teen Witch! Thank you for the tag. I will add it to my list to do for this month. After all, it IS Old School April!
You're my brother's age, so it's so fun to listen to your answers. (same with the creator) One of my favorite candies was Abba Zabba. there's an Asian grocery store in my town that occasionally has them. LOL And I remember playing Life. 👍👍
I got to See Sawyer Brown in Concert and also stayed in the same hotel and earlier in the day got to ride up in the elevator with them. this was in Kansas City and about 1986
I love Necco Wafers and Runts. I don't eat candy anymore so not sure if they are still around. First concert was The BEatles but not very memorable as they were in the middle of a racetrack and sound was awful. I went to a lot of concerts in the 80's. Favorites were The Police , Queen and David Bowie. All the Right Moves reminds me of my high school years alot. I lived in a city filled with factories. I was very jealous of Trixie Belden. I wanted to live in the country and have horses.
For me the first book I ever learned to read on was Dick and Jane then I enjoyed mystery and romance. Currant reading likes are cozy mysteries Christain romance and suspense. My first concert was to see Johnny Cash at our biggest fair that we have every year. Favorite cartoons growing up Looney Toons, Woody Woodpecker, Casper, Space Ghost, Johnny Quest. I grew up in the sixties, and seventies. So we wear hip-huggers and bell bottoms, and some wore short shorts just not me. Movies has always been Footloose, White Christmas, Gone With the Wind, and Fiddler on the Roof. My first crush has always been Donny Osmond wish i could have seen him in concert. Board game Dream Date. For candy it would have to be these little flying saucers that had hard candies in the middle. We got candy for 5 cents.
The fair that I was talking about where I saw Johnny Cash was called the Big E. I even skipped school to go see him with my boyfriend and a good friend. It was so cool.

Yes, trends to comeback around. Your two crushes were quite cute back in the day! 🤓
A drink I used to love and it was a treat when my mom bought it- Tab. Boy did we not know how bad it is for you.
I remember Tab!
How fun and nostalgic. I remember a lot of what you talked about ^-^
I love nostalgic things! I think it's why I like reading older books so much these days.
