Never been a fan of k-pop, but this video is what made me a fan of Ateez. I've seen people say that this performance is non standard for a k-pop group, because they took the visual aspect out of it and even that they look scary or too aggressive. But - and that might be because I'm not a k-pop fan and more of a rock/metal lover - to me the visual style here is AWESOME. The outfits, the movement - so COOl. They look like a professional dance crew that also happens to be very good at singing. Yes, it's aggressive, but that's what hooks you. I can't imagine watching it and not having some emotional reaction.
They broke the Korean culture norm with this but that’s also what their message is…it’s okay to back the norm and be yourself! 🧡

While I already liked Kpop, this mv (as well as The Black Cat Nero) also made me love ATEEZ even more, since it had the style/sound that was close to the goth and metal stuff I liked. I’m especially happy that some of their newer songs have heavier elements.

I agree with you. The choreography, the outfits and makeup, the editing, and the cinematography are all impactful.
I fell into Ateez because of this song too but more from the dance side so I watch their dance practice video more than the performance video and more than the actual music video. But true, they don't need their faces to engage the audiences, this prove that they are beyond being an idol group and truly a professional artist group

Been listening to kpop since just before EXO debuted and when they did I was stunned coz they came hit the stage with best dance and vocals. I havent seen that since until Ateez. Style, vocals, dance is strongest in kpop and if u think less just look up their dance covers and the visuals..we havent seen a group like this in a long time.

I've seen some people saying that this mv is too simple or that they excepted something more, but, guys... you do realize that it is a performance video, right ? The point of a performance video is to focus on the perfomance part, not on the visuals or scenery or whatelse. I mean, this is literally everything you could except from a performance video.
I'm already really glad that they listened to fans wish and released a full performance version for this song so I have nothing to complain about !
Edit: I also wanted to point something out, I've also seen some people disappointed that this does not follow the style of the short version. Actually this is something I like about this MV, I am glad that they changed the style for this version.
To me, if they just made a whole performance video out of the short one, then the short one would have lost all its interest as it would just have become like a part taken out of the full version, and people would not have given any more attention to the short version if the full one was just the exact same thing but longer.
It's more interesting to have two different style, so we still pay attention to both versions and do not feel like watching the same MV again.
And add to that--such an intense performance lasting *that long*. And it wasn't like it was a simple performance. Lots of little details that get overlooked or never added in a "typical" performance of a song. ATEEZ is all about the little details, which I looooove.
