Life Skills is so important! He did a great job in making the Waffles. The teacher that was teaching him did a great job also! She was very organized knew what she was doing and her voice the way she was talking to him was very soothing to him. She was very patient with him and knew how to keep him busy while they were waiting for the Waffles to cook. It’s a routine for him to do it independently because they have done it many times. I also work with Autistic Students also.
I love this SLP very much. So functional. It's amazing what kids are capable of doing, despite their intellectual delays, language delays, so on/so forth. Love it.
