Ramattra would have been the best thing to ow1 double shield since his punches goes through those. Imagine a Ram Jq comp where Jq jumps in with Ramattra

Small note for the start of the video. They have changed how armor works, so it is now a flat 30% damage reduction for all damage that affects armorhealth. So if you are a torb and have 250hp with 50 of it being armor you still die to a widow headshot because only 50 hp has the damage resistance so it would be more like you have an effective 265 hp. I am not the best at describing things tbh, but pretty much ow1 armor interactions are different compared to ow2. Overall armor in ow2 is stronger since it is more effective at mitigating singular shot damage, but at the same time is weak to single shot damage over the threshold.
If you have the 50 armor on top of the normal health I believe you still get the whole 30% even if it's enough damage to take you into normal health.

@@Gurululz How about doomfist ? There's few of zarya but none of df, not for ow2. I was playing mostly dps doom in ow1, was silver on tank and got to plat in ow2 playing doom but I can't seem to improve further.

The one issue I've had playing with him is a Zen on the other team. If I try to block his discord, even with both healers pocketing me, I just get ran over. If I try to focus him, their whole team just smashes me. I end up trying to use the sheilds to take most of the damage and playing passive, but I can't hold space, as I end up having to take cover a lot. I wonder if there's a better way to approach him.
Rely more on the DPS, as a supp player the only way to ensure that a tank kills us is because one DPS threw an ult that zoned the fuck outta us.
Rely on ults that deal AOE so you can coordinate to kill the zen remember in a 1v1 if you just dance on your shield you can pretty much just kill 2 people before getting the Zen.

This is the absolute accurate tier list I've ever seen on Overwatch EVER. I'd personally put junkrat altitle higher and pharah alittle lower because its impossible to get supports to look up at you but otherwise it's perfect. I'm not subscribed but I am now.

Guru is an amazing player, absolutely top class. But he clearly doesn’t like ramattra and hasn’t played him very much before this unranked to gm lol I still think it’s a video worth watching, he could be playing the worst hero ever for the first time and there still would be lots of info for people to pick up and improve, but for the novice ramattras out there make sure to also check out Yeatle’s!

You do take damgae from sig ult even when blcoking and locking up, but it only blocks the percentage it is supposed to, not negated it. Positive they wanted it in the game like that, but also wanted it somewhat skilled based. Atleast you have to look in a certian direction not just pop it and hit block to mitigatethe damage that would be way to simple and easy for everyone. I don't understand why you have to look up either though it's counter intuitive. Looking up with block in bastion ult does absolutely nothing, you have to look at the center of the ring you are in. Ram's block is just one more thing to keep track of as sig which is ridiculous I would agree and he is already at a disadvantage against a Ram imo usually, of course skill matters though. All of that said I don't think it is broken, but should it stay or should it go now is the question.
Placements are weird, I went 7-2 and got bronze 5.. I even waited a week or 2 after OW2 launch hoping it got better.
Why bother with placements if it puts you in the lowest rank possible anyway. It really discourages players to do comp imo..
the ranked system might also take your qp games into account but im not sure

I think he was playing wrong in the first few games, low ranks don’t follow the same rules as middle and high ranks so you’re better off just playing as offensively as possible and damaging them/pushing up straight to their backline. the bronze, silver and golds are simple creatures.

I find it’s easier for me to watch someone properly play than just listen to hours of someone in training mode droning on forever. This actually shows me positions for each map. This was very educational for me.
I mean I think the sigma one was a lot more educational. He didn't really go into this one know that much about ram so it's fair. As the other person said, you can still see how a gm makes it through lobbies with bad teammates

that would make him a very weak pick, nemesis IS his tank form. when out of shift rammatra is basically a fly buzzing in the enemy’s ear, literally any other tank could just push in and kill rammatra and his heals no problem once the nemesis is gone.
