- Today we watch the newly released Black Widow movie!!! :D Ugh I loved this movie so much, other than their version of Taskmaster I really did enjoy the action and Nat's lil family united that she had. Although they were questionable at first, I really did eventually fall in love with them. What did you guys think of the movie? I wish we got this sooner, before our girls demise T-T kinda makes me sad that this is all we will see of her...

Can I just say I really appreciate how wholesome and loving Alexi and Melina's relationship was? I was expecting him to just be a bumbling buffoon and to be treated as such by everybody, but Melina loves him for who he is and it warms my heart. When he walked out in that outfit and she whistled at him. Now that's true love.

I know people have a problem with taskmaster's usage in this movie. I like to see her as more of a thematic threat against natasha as she represents all her morally ambiguous actions coming back to bite her. I like how all the bad stuff she did wasn't just immediately forgotten when she turned good and joined the avengers.
This movie was fun! Black Widow should have had a film released long before this one. Her stories could have been great. This one is like a Bourne movie.
Honestly should've just made that Budapest film with her and Hawkeye
Marvel can squeeze out several films for the others but one for Widow? There’s so much good material that can be used.

@@KrystalogyReacts Civil War was kinda not that great in my book. It had a rough beginning and a problematic ending. Was good in the middle for a while. It wasn't nearly as good overall as Winter Soldier or Black Widow for that matter.
The movie flowed really well, the pacing was fantastic, and the cast were EXCELLENT! I loved it!
Thank you for waiting the weekend to upload this instead of 5 seconds after it was released and allowing people the weekend to watch the movie

This movie really exceeded my expectations. I told my sister as we were driving to the theater that I was more or less expecting something generic but serviceable. Based on the marketing, I was prepared to be underwhelmed. It's not that this movie blew me away with how subversive and groundbreaking it was. It was just really fucking solid. What surprised me the most was how engaged I was throughout the whole thing. I wasn't expecting to get as invested as I did.
Luckily, the movie starts out VERY strong with that whole opening action sequence. And then the credit sequence. THE CREDIT SEQUENCE. I remember in the theater thinking "Oh, this is neat, Marvel doesn't usually do stylized credit sequences like this." But, man, I did not fully appreciate how amazing that montage is. It's truly eerie, haunting, tense and deeply, deeply saddening all at the same time. Brilliant.
I don't think most of the action sequences were particularly memorable, but if there's anything I like about them, it's the intensity. It felt very visceral every time a character got kicked or punched or thrown into kitchen cabinet. But I would've liked to have seen Taskmaster's skills represented better. I wished they had put a stronger emphasis on her ability to replicate anybody's fighting style, rather than depicting her as just being generally good at Kung Fu.
I think the best part of the movie is probably the supporting cast. Florence Pugh and David Harbour specifically. Florence Pugh might be my favourite character in the MCU, and David Harbour is just such a wonderful man and a truly brilliant actor. Any excuse to bring both of them back would be gladly accepted.
The movie has plenty of flaws, some pretty big ones, but they seem insignificant to me now because I'm just really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I immediately wanted to see it again after watching it in theaters the first time, and I'm sad now that there won't be any sequels in the future. It's honestly kind of embarrassing that Marvel waited this long to make a Black Widow movie, and the fact that it's even set during around when the movie should have actually been made (2016-2017ish) is proof that this movie is too late. But, I still honestly kind of loved it and I think it'll improve future chronological MCU marathons.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is back with a vengeance.

the director was split between having another whistle at the very end of the post credit scene and not have elaine from Seinfeld, and then fade to black, that would have made fans crazy and wonder if Natasha was still alive, but she decided not to do that and just show some fireflies, so Hulk wished her back to life at the end of Endgame, so i don't know if it worked or not. she might not have known there was a grave there for her
yeah i feel the same way about the whole "Taskmaster" vibes... going from Tony Masters to an Antonia Origin story was wack af, other than that the movie was okay. But i love your reaction videos, because older fans like myself seeing younger fans like yourself catching the vibes is amazing.

Taskmaster is actually a guy in the comics. He can minke anyone’s moves besides Deadpool for being unpredictable. Omg your reaction to the sisters fighting 😂😂 I give this movie a 7/10. I’m disappointed that we didn’t get the ballroom scene or them as children getting trained for a few moments

Yeahhh i didn't even know it was Taskmaster at first. Although they did mention their power, I only knew a bit about em from the spiderman games and did not equate it. I def think that drags the movie down a lot

Didn`t mind it, the change fit the themes of The Film and showed what a scumbag Dreykov was which also adds to Natasha`s own tragic backstory!
@@AspieMediaBobby There's already a lot of other things in the movie that shows Dreykov is a scumbag, though. We're shown how he turns small, innocent girls into child assassins, and he kills those who flunk their training by the dozens. Natasha already has more than enough of a motivation to stop him. The Taskmaster reveal doesn't serve any purpose other than shock value. I'm fine with Taskmaster being a woman, but I don't like how they utilized it just for a cheap twist that's redundant to the overall plot.
Marvel always finds a way to screw up most of it's villians in the MCU except Spidey's villains (so far) and Thanos, of course. I love the reaction, keep up the great work :)

@@jaydenjones1374 Which worked for Homecoming, since that movie's all about Peter living in Tony's shadow but trying to become his own man. It did not work when they pulled the exact same trick in Far From Home, though.
To be honest Taskmaster should have been the main villain of this movie
From what I understand from the comics, Taskmaster is just a mercenary. He's not really main villain material. It's like having Deathstroke as the main villain of a Batman movie. He's cool, but he should only be there if there's someone else pulling the strings.

I'm excited for the Dark Avengers setup, but I'm more intrigued about the Kabal setup 👀 Nemor was already confirmed part of the MCU so his enemy Attuma (I believe that's his name) might pop up, we might get Dracula from Blade soon (would've been cool to see him interact with Cap since they met in a war though), we already have Loki, Enchantress and Red Skull, so all we really need is Hyperion and Super Adaptoid or maybe even Kang will join since he's part of it too 👀
I really enjoyed this movie! Glad I got to see it in theaters and glad you reacted to it Krysta. While I feel like this movie should have came out in the last phase before Endgame, I’m still glad we got it. I know people are up in arms about what happened to Taskmaster, but honestly, I don’t really care. This is an adoption! It’s not gonna be 100% accurate to the character from the comics. Plus, given the “Taskmaster Program”, what’s to say we can get the original character down the line? I mean, they had to have come up with this Taskmaster from something. But like… the way dudes are up in arms about it is just stupid. Still loved this movie and glad Black Widow got her time to shine.

As usual, you got a good taste and better sense of quality than most of the MCU zombies. This was one of the best MCU movies, especially out of the last several years. It had highly cinematic action and suspense. Probably only the Winter Soldier movie had as consistently tense and well-directed action scenes out of all the MCU flicks. This had great performances and like you said, content that is slightly more adult-oriented, above the 4-year-old sensibilities the MCU is usually pitched at. Shang-Chi is poorly written garbage compared to this.
Im not sure if she is Taskmaster. In the movie they kept calling it "taskmaster protocol" so maybe she will not be THE taskmaster. Idk tho

I loved this movie it was really fun I love espiangoe movies Captain america winter soldier and Mission impossible etc. And I didn't mind Task master personally like I've seen him in cartoons and yea he trash talks people and copies there moves but I don't know a lot about him anyway. She should have gotten her own movie years ago like after Avengers 2 but still loved it so fun and great to see her have her own family and the Avengers, and the woman at the end was from Falcon and Winter soldier

I saw alot of women's empowerment in the movie along side pude comic genuis i think me being a male and a marvel fan and a semi critic of films. its the best one id argue ive seen it once yesterday and my fod it was so good im going to see it again for sure the flashback sences got me so hard scared me in shock the comedy mixed with the action and sending the perfect messages in the movie and setting up the widows can exist without scarlett this movie is legendary however i did have a problem with taskmaster becuse i were used to him being a male and looking like a skull face and having a sword also being able to talk so the twist and all of the taskmaster changes kind of ruined atleast the 14 to 15 years of knowing the charicter to be changed int the mcu. I look aforword to seeing yours and other pepoles opinions of it.

cool video. this movie had some good moments but the plot holes have been bugging me. why didn't natasha try to find her friend/sister before this, knowing that she had been integrated into a murder brainwash cult? why did yelena attack natasha when they first met, then start acting normal immediately after their fight scene? why did red guardian ask about captain america when they have never met? why did melina completely switch allegiances and fully support natasha after a single conversation? none of the characters' actions make sense if you think about it lol.
I’ll answer some of your questions but the last I’m not sure about and those are some plot holes.
Natasha thought that drecov was dead so she thought yelena wasn’t a widow anymore and was living a normal life.
Yelena and Natasha fought because 1. They didn’t know the others intentions and 2. It was like a sparring match to see who was the better fighter. Then Natasha called a truce when they were about to kill each other so yelena trusted her a little after that.
