If @PXG wants to club sponsor a Marine veteran who says "yeah" and "right" non-stop, has a glass back, and probably has the most obnoxious laugh on RUclips... have your people reach out to my people. Cheers!

An afterthought of why I felt this fitting was better.... Last time I just felt like it was a crank down the loft and obviously hit it farther tactic. This time I felt Jonathan took the time to actually put me in a good spec that would help improve my game off the tee box. Leave a like for him! Cheers!

Its interesting to see your videos talking negatively about fittings and how fitters are out to get you. Yet you show up with your TS Driver cranked down and a hulk small batch, so you liked some aspects of what you get told but just not everything? Watching the first driver challenge you did and this one it looks like spinning the ball isn't an issue for you... so the first thing most fitters are going to do is look at loft to help combat that, probably why you ended up in an 8 degree and an upgraded graphite design this go round. Both guys talk about heel strikes and out to in club path, so its inevitable you are going to create spin and a left to right ball flight, right? So the best thing was to bash the guys in the comments and videos for trying to help you combat spin and the ball flight...... both of these guys came across as wanting to get you more distance and find the best shaft, if you're against upgrade shafts so much, then why do you have one? The hulk shaft is a counterbalanced shaft btw. Sounds like club champion tried to do you wrong, from the little you talk about in another video. But PXG seems to try and put you into something that is better than what you have, which is what you're there for, I hope. love the content but seems to contradict what you say and what your equipment says.

I've been waiting to reply to this (thought about doing a video just for some content). First, really appreciate your critiques. I am fascinated by basically everything golf, especially club fittings. That was not the case however previously and I imagine there are 10000s of golfers who do not spend a lot of time actually understanding what the nuances of "getting fit" actually means. I never said fitters are "out to get you" so to speak, I said ignorance (in this case my own) gives them an opportunity.
For the TSR / Small Batch shaft change... I had that shaft from a previous driver (Cobra Radspeed that I hit at the end with a 40g shaft instead) that I bought preowned off the rack and had the adapter retipped. I knew the shaft profile was stiffer than the other shaft I had and then yeah I went down in loft settings trying to mimic the results of the first fitting to lower spin. Never realized it was counter balanced though, cool to know. It worked to an extent, but just too inconsistent. I'm personally not against upgraded shafts, but the better half and family coffers tend to disagree, haha.
I don't feel as if I bashed them in the comments or disrespected them. I complimented him in the video and in the comments. I still have the ability to have some opinion about the process. PXG is not in the business of giving money away, its a fun and clever marketing campaign. I would find it hard pressed for anyone other than high level ball strikers not to get beat out and get a "better PXG driver". They only have to get better distance OR dispersion and given enough swings that WILL happen unless you just have the best 3 money balls with your current driver.
I did a putter fitting at Club Champion, which I still recommend all the time. They just tried to give me a used putter that wasn't even in the spec of the fitting. So yeah, the general lesson that I pass forward is just make sure your getting what you are paying for. Anyways... hope you check out some other videos and I appreciate the discussion! Cheers!
