You think it would be ok to make it out of oak instead of spruce? I'm building my viking village in a plains biome and I wanna know if it looks good before I do it out of oak.
I'm part norse and since I've discovered this I've made my gta 5 character a viking, Put an Until Valhalla custom emblem in COD Infinite Warfare, and now I'm making a norse minecraft village and raid other villages with my friends.
I think it would be pretty cool if you make a workshop, I think it's called, where Vikings make their ships. I would be an awsome idea to make like a half-builted ship inside of it!!!
Really nice video! You explained it really good, I could understand everything even if English isn't my first language. Historically, vikings didn't have potatoes, but like not important. Also, could you maybe build a ship?
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your feedback, i'm pleased ti was clear enough for you! and thats really interesting actually!! I thought that potatoes were quite easy to grow in a cold environment, so thats why i chose them, but we might have to change them if thats the case! thank you so much!
@@korl0ch298 Yeah, so many people forget that plants like the potato and the tomato are both originally from South America. So no one in the Old World before the "discovery" of the Americas would have known about these plants.
A village viking for a next video?(because Ac Valhalla...) and a train western (i have make all tuto for the city wester (i dont make the mine whos hard and fast (too bad)) I am french sorry for the orthographe

Hope you enjoyed the build guys!! Let me know down below what Viking build you'd like to see next!
I think some Vikings use wolves as hunters so you should use some
@@NBA_UglyDucklin Love this idea! Maybe a kennels of some sort!
@@thewalkingwhale no problem your welcome

you could build a viking market that would look really cool

thank you sir, god bless you
Thanks a lot man, I currently am working on a Viking- village project TBH, this helps me a ton.
God send, thanks so much
I fucking love you.
It would be kinda helpful if you make a list of the amount of items you need, us survival players don't have unlimited resources
Iknow I'm late to this but the floors it's easy 5x5=25 15x9=135
@@OniPrincessRae2 I mean like, 4 oak fences, 3 stairs, 500 oak planks... Ect. It would be easier to prepare
Isn't the floor just cobblestone
@zenkain you’re missing the point apparently.
Count it
Assasin's creed valhalla. For some reason it came to my mind.
Not played it yet but will soon and hoping to get lots of inspiration from it! Thanks for watching!
that what i thought
@@thewalkingwhale you can get a lot inspiration from there. I am playing it and it is a nice game
Not to be the "well actually" person, but Vikings were some of the cleanest people there were at the time.
Oh really?! I didn't know this... my apologies to any Viking i've offended haha! Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!!
@@thewalkingwhale I love your tutorials! Building my own village right now!

I love Minecraft because you can build anything in it plus with mods it’s even more amazing
Mods don't exist on console
Yeees!!!!!!!! :)
@@Fallen_Gremory Sadly ;(
At around 8:10 you said you didn't think the vikings were tidy, but the vikings actually took hygiene and cleanliness very seriously
ik man just the portrayal of them in western culture is inaccurate in some aspects
do a viking farm that would be awesome for my build
You should post some of your buildings on r/Minecraft maybe they will check you out

I love your vids dude! The way you make them is so original, you are really underrated!
Vikings weren’t organised but they were quite clean. They took a bath atleast once a week.
You should make a tutorial on building the monasteries from Assassins Creed Valhalla. I wanted to build them in minecraft but didn't know how.

Here to comment that your videos are still being watched in 2024☺️
The Vikings were farmers but also a fearsome warriors. You can built armory, blacksmith, horse stables, windmill and a bunch of small viking houses.
