People who show off are people who know that they aren’t worthy of admiration. People who are know they don’t have to prove it. Man, this song and the people in it really touch my heart.
Brings tears to my eyes every time I play it...reminds me of my late father and me. He loved this song even though he wasn't a rap fan. Guess we both resonated with it. Music connects the soul still...
2024 🎉 yo! Lets start a family again!!! You know, the people who aint scared to get punches, roll up for their own, pull out a hand for those who need it. YO MAN! OUR PEOPLES, dont matter the color, matter the level we live in. And were for the peoples. To others like me, Thank You. Nice to see our people rise.
You have not lived until you are eating one pot meals.. and washing your clothes in any soap you can find. LOL* Except maybe dish soap because the bubbles can get out of control. The struggle can break you.. or make you stronger. xo
P.S. SOOOO IT TENDS-TO BRING-JOY, YET TEARS-TO MY HEART-HEARING-IT/THIS-SONG, BUT, IT IS-THE SHIZNITZ!! LOVE-IT!! GOD-BLESS, KEEP-LISTENING, BUMPIN-IT, EVERYDAY, EVERYWEEK, EVERYYEAR, UNTIL, I SEE MY DADA-ROB, AGAIN!! PEACE/SHALOM!!
I grew up in the country in Georgia. This song and the comments really bring back great memories of me and my cousins running around in the woods, climbing trees, making forts, going fishing, throwing rocks on the gravel roads, eating whatever the seasonal fruit right off the trees, watching my granddad and my uncles field dress and smoked hogs in the fall....oh those were simpler times...the good old days. Also poor was poor, regardless of race. The poor whites and blacks seemed to have gotten along great because they had a lot in common.
I love your comment bro, sounds exactly like my childhood! I'm from Greenville South Carolina, lived there until I was 12 and then moved to south Alabama for a couple years. It was great growing up in the country, I thank God I was born when and where I was. I can't stand being in big cities. And yeah, in South Carolina it was either black or white, I hardly ever saw any other races (this was the 80s and 90s) but we all got along fine. We were all just friends, brothers, and sisters. Now I live in Texas and partly due to all the media and government dividing everyone, things aren't so good. It's a tragedy. I don't know what's going to end up happening but I hope people can get back to loving one another.
@JohnFilley-d3r the media deliberately keeps the races divided. I'm not saying there isn't any racism out there because that would be untrue. But I am saying that race isn't as big a deal in everybody's daily lives as the media would have us all believe. Country life is the best...in my humble opinion. To this day, I hate cities and crowded places in general
This song gives you a feeling of embracing the struggles of life and knowing better times are coming! Hold your chin up, stand firm, keep god first and don't stop pushing 🙏
Poor people hate on rich people too but it's like this, rich people look and say "they will never know what it's like to live my life". Poor people look at them and say "they wouldn't make it through my life". I see rich people all the time that's gotta keep up a social status and image. They don't know how much fun you can have just sitting around on the front porch with some drink playing cards and dominoes. Some of the poorest people live the happiest lives.

People who show off are people who know that they aren’t worthy of admiration. People who are know they don’t have to prove it. Man, this song and the people in it really touch my heart.

I love those in the struggle no matter where you're from. We are all so beautiful
Devi Ma for real the struggle makes us stronger 😃
My favorite verse has always been Prophet's (03:13 -03:59)
Brings tears to my eyes every time I play it...reminds me of my late father and me. He loved this song even though he wasn't a rap fan. Guess we both resonated with it. Music connects the soul still...
Of course, there's many songs that touch me..such as dear mama by Tupac
it's one of those songs
so sorry for your loss rev.21: 3,4 brings me comfort hope dose the same for you
+Sherry Holmes Yes, that scripture is very comforting Rev 21:3-4, and John 5: 28-29...

Still Here Going Into 2024 🙏🏽
This was the song that introduced Anthony Hamilton to the world.
Right, he used to sing background for DeAngelo..check out the live version of send it on ... fierce
Yaaaaaas
Been following him since Charline... I was 14 or so. Its really the only music I listen to now. Seen him live man, its like church, lol.
No sir Anthony Hamilton had 2 hits songs on our radio out here in North Carolina, Where I'm from and another song with Sunshine Anderson off her album
@@allenblythe1978 he was popular only in North Carolina at that time you're talking about. The key word I used is "world."
You have not lived until you are eating one pot meals.. and washing your clothes in any soap you can find. LOL* Except maybe dish soap because the bubbles can get out of control. The struggle can break you.. or make you stronger. xo
your do right damnit girl lmfao good times

FACTUAL! Right on.
"P"-"U"-"S"-"H", PRAY-UNTIL-SOMETHING-HAPPENS!!!! N DON'T STOP🙏✌️😎

When I use to love rap ....nowadays rap is shit
BMUSIK preach
It ain't even rap anymore.. Just senseless one-syllable talking without any flow or style.
still exists. just gotta look for it.
BMUSIK thats ur opinion, its wrong but i still respect it ✊

MAN WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS TYPE MUSIC I LOVE THIS !..God Bless Y’all
Rich people always talk down on the poor, but if only they could see how it feels to be poor.I'm still trying to get out of the ghetto.
not always, on the other hand there are at least the same amount of poor people hating on rich ones.
Love the comment
Encino Man they are living more miserable then we are brother
Poor people hate on rich people too but it's like this, rich people look and say "they will never know what it's like to live my life". Poor people look at them and say "they wouldn't make it through my life". I see rich people all the time that's gotta keep up a social status and image. They don't know how much fun you can have just sitting around on the front porch with some drink playing cards and dominoes. Some of the poorest people live the happiest lives.
Same here rich don't understand the struggles we deal with
