A true-to-life dramatization of the death of 14-year-old Emmett Till. A Chicago teenager who, while visiting relatives in Money, Mississippi, in August 1955, was kidnapped, tortured and murdered by two white men who claimed they wanted to teach him a lesson for allegedly whistling at a local white woman. This tragedy has been credited with sparking the modern Civil Rights Movement.

Justice for Emmett Till. The lady that lied is still alive. She should be held accountable for the death of this 14 year old boy Emmett. No one should ever have to go through this.
The people who forced her to lie against her will are dead. Never let media explain a story to you. Do your own research.
@Gambit Odsey number 1, he was in a different state than his mother at the time. 2, white people had power back then, plus they barged into their home holding WEAPONS so of course they didn’t try to stop them with force, which would have probably lead to something worse. Stop trying to make this seem like it was the fault of someone other than the people that committed the crime. If you think his mother is guilty IN ANY WAY you need help.

Yes. Carolyn Bryant Donham is still alive. She is 87 and she lives in Kentucky
How heart wrenchingly sad. My heart hurts for him and his mom every time I read or hear about this horrible crime. How dare anyone have so much hatred because of the color of one's skin. We are ALL created in the image of God. What was done to that child was horrific. These people may have gotten away with this horrific murder here and that horrible woman who lied but I can say without a doubt that God didn't say well done good and faithful servants.

Why these men weren't arrested. It sad . Men can kill a child. Nothing was done. Thank God He see all.
They were arrested and tried for murder, but were acquitted of murder by an all white jury. A couple of months later they did an interview for Look magazine where they admitted they killed Emmett. They left out a lot of details and the names of their accomplices because they didn't want to incriminate others who were with them that night.
When I was young I never heard of or thought that we had bad people in the whole wide world. This negativity can make you scared for all people. We all only have but one life to live, Who gave anyone the right to take a life before God? I pray that this madness really goes away so my grandchildren will never have to see or hear of this sadness ever again. Its sad enough when a loved one dies period. I wish I could go back when all people just knew (Love one another right now)
