My favorite characters in Judge Dredd are ABC Warriors, in the Stallone movie it was the rusty Terminator looking robot, but in the comics they’re extremely varied and often band together as a mercenary outfit. In the comics they have distinct personalities. Hammerstein and Blackblood in particular
Love Hiya's 1/18 figures. They always have excellent sculpt, paint, and articulation. The size is so convenient for affordable vehicals... the Tank from Aliens being a notable exception.
Had the old 3 inch scale Judge Dredd with Lawmaster when the 90s movie came out. Was one my fave toys as a young lad. Definitely worth it for me on nostalgia alone.😊
The Belt pouch snaps are not painted on the standard Dredd, Anderson or Hershey. I also just noticed that all 3 have shiny outfits and shiny gold parts.
The matte finish on Anderson's suit is well executed but I definitely prefer the way the glossier finish on Dredd's brings out the details of the sculpt, feels like a better match to the comics as well. On the other hand I think the matte finish on the green parts on the Anderson figure looks much better, so ideally I would've liked a mix of both. But I agree that both figures look fine as-is, and I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite paintjob if I couldn't cheat and cherry pick the best parts of both.
I'm a HUGE Dredd fan, having read 2000AD since the 80s. I've picked up most of the figures and really dig them despite them having a few issues. It's so cool to have So many Judge Dredd characters represented in my collection. I only picked up one bike, because cool as it is, it's hella expensive. I'd love Hiya to do more 2000AD characters. I need a Strontium Dog and Rogue Trooper to go with my judges.
Great reviews as usual. - This Hiya appears to be a duplicate cheaper attempt at 3A’ s 1:12 scale Dredd + Lawmaster from back in 2015 which had dredd’s accurate skinny body proportions to match the classic 2000AD comic and had a cool thin rubber like body suit hiding the joints. Also Came with 2 guns and a Billy stick. The lawmaster also had more than one headlight feature. And both the figure and bike look more weathered and visually less plasticky over all -- 3A’s definitly felt like higher quality for the $. - cheers
I love Judge Dredd. I'm all in on this line. Even though I do not collect 3.75 scale. I was extremely disappointed however when Hiya revealed their 1/12 version of Judge Dredd and it had a cloth goods suit. The figure was on the expensive end and being articulated under the pleather cloth goods, it just wouldn't hold up over time. I couldn't justify the money I would have spent for that reason.
these figures looks despite me not knowing anything about these, Speaking of Hiya toys it looks like they will be making figures of your favorite Franchise ever Naruti Ball Z 😂 so that would be interesting if you get review samples of Hiya toys Naruti Figures
If they were 6 inch scale with Jada Toys Street Fighter level of articulation I'd be hooked. They do look really nice. The paintwork is incredible for the scale. The price is too much for me. Judge Anderson was a favourite for me. She was more freewheeling and funny than Dredd due to being a Psi Judge. It's been decades since I read any Dredd stories so other characters are a blurr, but there were some cool Judge designs for Brit Cit, Oz, Sov Cit and their Judges. Ireland had some too.
I don't collect this scale, but I have been tempted from seeing the vehicles and the figures being made. I must resist due to all the other stuff I collect. Maybe I'll dip my toe, but I'm afraid I'll add another scale to my collecting.
I was waiting for the 6 inch figure, but then I saw it had soft good clothes. I really do not like cloth on my action figures. This is not a scale I collect, but I still want a Judge Dredd.
Are you going to pick up any of the new Furay Planet line? Veteran William, Blade Master Weng, Crocker, and the upcoming Kensai all look outrageously well done.
any chance you could review the new master of the universe masterverse figures? I absolutely love them, they are like what you remember the old ones being ( they have more realistic proportions and some various styles )
Wolverine action figures should be that short. Please Anthony. Once you get yourself situated with your new home. Let me know. I need you to make serious action figures custom style by you of course to me.
I like hiya, but i decided not to start collecting them. On the other hand, 1:12 stuff is looking amazing! I know very little about the comic character, but i did enjoy the reboot with Karl Urban.
If you need a reasoning for their uniforms being different, Dredd & Anderson aren't part of the same division of Judges. Dredd is a street Judge while Anderson is Psi division.

For me, the dark judges are my favorite. Love their aesthetic.
I don't collect this scale, I don't know anything about Dredd except for the 2012 movie, but these figures look incredible for the size.
The original movie came out in the 90s
@@mattlu5493 I'm talking about the Karl Urban one, not the Sylvester Stallone one that you're referring to
Comics are worth a read for sure.

As someone who read the comics & watched all the movies this is a great set for any Judge Dredd fan

My mom stopped letting me bring toys to the grocery store when I turned 30. She’s so mean!
How lame
Take it to the grocery store while your mom is shopping hahaha

Anyone unfamiliar with the Judge Dredd comics should pick up The Apocalypse War graphic novel and I guarantee you'll be hooked! 🙂👍😎

Maaan. You dont drop such fantasy on people like that ... if Jada did Dredd ...😢
9:43 lol

I say this every time you review these but I wish they would do them in 6” (and not cloth).
Me too

The standard Dredd has that one piece neck and head too.
These are cool looking figures even though I don't know anything about Dredd. It is so easy to forget how small they are with those details.
Are you going to pick up any of the new Furay Planet line? Veteran William, Blade Master Weng, Crocker, and the upcoming Kensai all look outrageously well done.
I wanted the tiger (is it from that line?) But it's sold out everywhere i look
Dread With & The Anderson Lawmaker MkII
At least 45 thousand dollars minimum 🤣 😂😂.
Love you videos you usually keep it honest.
Thanks. But i always keep it honest

They're very nicely detailed, impressive in that regard. They're just so diddy.
That’s not a main headlight, it’s actually the scanner and on board computer

It’s a wonderful detailed toy but I can’t afford to start collecting 1/18 scale toys when most of my collection is 1/12 scale

Gives me a toy biz Marvel legends show down 3.75 figs vibes.
I want one bad, but price point is waaaay too high. This is a $45.00 item.
In the single figure release Anderson was glossy and Dredd was matte.
This reminds me of Megan fox 👍🏻😝
Don’t ever show me your package like that again. Figures look great though!
It's not going to be fun to pay $75 for it or more.
I love these figures, but overpriced! 😢
you cant measure something and declare the measurement to be, "almost exactly".
It's a joke
Too small
