    I always wondered what Eggnog was exactly. I always assumed it was like baileys. I might give this a go, thanks!

    In my eggnog, I'm partial to one part Jamaican rum like Appleton Estate and two parts of a strong bourbon like wild turkey 101. Adjust to your strength preference. To me, this combo adds a little something merry to the eggnog that makes it not even seem like it's got alcohol in it.

      Oh really I’ll give that a try , not sure I’ve seen wild turkey bourbon , is that in the states ? It defo sounds like it will give you an extra merry Christmas 🎄

      @Tastygarybites It is in the States. Basically any bourbon that showcases a more spice forward flavor profile. Wild Turkey 101 is vanilla, baking spices, and rye for it's flavor profile so it works very well for that. I also love it in a drink called a stone fence. 1oz bourbon, 2 dashes angostura bitters and a bottle of European style apple cider(I like Strongbow for this).
