11 years since dream high aired and I still have no idea why they deleted this scene as I think this scene is so important to the storyline. in the drama, they only showed that jin guk was the last person to received the lucky pendant (sam dong gave it to him in episode 13), but all of sudden the pendant was on hye mi and she gave it to sam dong before he leave by the bus in the last episode. and the weirdest thing is they showed a bit of this deleted scene in the beginning of the last episode even though it was never aired 🙃

On the other hand, the dropped flower pot could have killed sam dong...Jin guk admitted it himself to hye sung, that anyone would choose the guy who spend all this time with you over the guy who's too busy to be with you?? At the very end of the last episode, nobody really ended up together except Pilsook and Jason. Even though Hyemi chose Samdong over Jinguk, they then separated to pursue their individual careers. There was no sign of any relationship between them. Apparently neither Jinguk nor Baekhee was in any sort of relationship either. Clearly not much of a happy ending. Somewhat sad, really (except Pilsook and Jason).

I think this was put after Sam Dong already saw his picture in Hye Mi's wallet. Remember, Jin Guk asked Hye Mi out for her birthday the day Sam Dong suspected Hye Mi had feelings for him. If you are a SamMi couple fan, you would notice that, before, there were little signs that Hye Mi also liked Sam Dong. Even before ep. 10. =) You would just have to be really observant because they were little things, you know.
