I like this topic, Lauren. I love astronomy. We have so much in common. If you don't mind, I am going to add my two senses. I think stars explode when they have used up all their atoms (from light to heavy) rendering them unable to convert these atoms into energy through nuclear fusion which is the outward force (energy) that fights against gravity, the enemy of stars that wants to crush them. It's truly amazing when you think about the very force that makes the star eventually fight with it its whole life to destroy it. You made me question myself today. Our Milky Way Galaxy has a pinwheel shape with billions of stars. I never really understood why it has the pinwheel shape. Now you encouraging me to look into it.
Hi Anita, my name is correctly spelled “Lauren”, just fyi. Also, yes I think it’s cool to think of the whole shape of galaxies. And the fact that these stars, specifically, have an elliptical shape regardless of the general shape of galaxies. W-R stars are extremely rare, with only a few hundred to a few thousand of them known to us vs. the many billions of stars that exist. And yes what happens at the center of stars is nuclear fusion. Hydrogen becoming helium and further releasing Heat and photons under intense pressure in the star’s plasma-hot gasses. Super cool, huh?😎 Yep. It is! Thanks for stopping by and sharing!! Miss ya! - Lauren
HELLO LAUREN ARE YOU GOING TO BE AN ASTRONAUT? That would be great for us SQUADESS. Free ride to the stars. Honestly thanks your wonderful information. There’s a lot to learn.❤❤❤
I’ve got links to the article from Peter G. Tuthill via Scientific American in my story on Instagram. when I get time I’ll try to post it in the description here 😀 - L

HI I don't know how you saw me as I was not on that train. Also, I do not discuss anywhere that I am in real time. I imagine whomever you saw was beautiful and hopefully friendly. Channel's doing great! Subscribe to see more. -- Lauren
