just to flex, here's a tutorial on how to make Cloud(ff7), Captain Falcon, Pit, and Ganondorf Cloud: tennis player's hair, mean face (yellow), black legs, tech girls arms, nya(ninja)'s torso. (or what ever torso works for you) Captain Falcon: body and legs from the robot from lego movie, nightwing's head, kite man's helmet. Pit: luke's (old) body and legs, Emmett's head, jay's hair and white wings. Ganondorf: body and legs from the brown mandolorian, darth vaders head, orange hair and brown cape. and for the twilight princess ver. use malgus (flipped) torso,black arms and legs.

Your approach to Samus is pretty good, though I'd have used the football shoulder pads and a red version of that one helmet from Rock Raiders if I could, but I think it only exists in dark Grey, but I may be mistaken. Link is a difficult one, but I had some ideas. I respect your decision to avoid making him, but I still would have liked to see it.
