I dissembled it a different way but cleaned it like that, removing that film. put some artic mx4. I can't hear the fan lol

With the ASUS X501A, are you able to remove the CPU from its socket in order to replace/upgrade it or is it soldered in place?

In our model it was not soldered, but it might be different for other similar models.
