Agree! One of my Feng Shui books says something like: if you are feeling alone and would like people to come over, placing a lot of pillows on your furniture looks like there's no room for new people in your life!

I love pillows on the couch, my husband doesn't but all he has to do is move them . I find when my company comes over and they sit on the couch they usually put the pillow in their lap and hold it while we're talking.. 😆
