I have a 2 and 4.5 year old and I would not take either of them to a big show. I took my oldest to an IPMS show earlier this year when she just turned 4. She wanted to touch everything in the competition area and got bored when looking around the trader section. It is much better going solo then you can relax and enjoy the show in your own time. With the young kids it is a lot of hassle and takes the fun away from the day. I will probably take them to look when they are older and have some self control.
Good stuff Neal, great to see you at Telford, sorry I didn't stop to long at the meet. My Ptsd was starting to kick off so thought it best go. I'm hopefully going to make Bolton. If you like if your coming from more South than I am in Stoke, if you come past Stoke you could leave your car at mine and I'll drive us the rest of the way. If Harriet and the Mrs are with you they are very welcome to. Just a thought, save you driving to far. Stay safe buddy on those streets. All the best
Hi Steve, no worries about Telford it was rather busy and fully get that some people need a bit of quiet and space (something for the organisers to sort out maybe?). We will see about Bolton, I’ve never been but hear good things about it, I’ll let you know and thanks for the offer of the car share, I need to hope I’m not on shift but will check soon? Take care of yourself. Neal

Hi Nigel, thanks for the kind comment! It was very chatting at Southwell, Telford was so busy I’m not surprised we did not bump into each other. Hopefully see you at Bolton all the best with the business. Neal
Lovely update mate :) Was great to meet you and catch up for a bit, Some really nice purchases and thanks for the mention and link. It is very much appreciated :D keep safe
Hey Ivan, yes it was a great chat, no problems plugging the podcast it is great to listen to and deserves being in the spotlight. As for purchases yours are far nicer than mine! That HS-219 looks amazing! Neal
Hopefully!! My time at present is devoted to my children being very young they need me more than I need the hobby. But I do miss building and hope to get back into the game sometime.
@@ModelMinutes I feel the same, my life has changed quite a bit over the last few years. But I still want to come back to the hobby, the issue at present is time and space, and I don’t want to do a half arsed job of the hobby. So for the time being I am a spectator on the sidelines. But I will be at SMW this year.
