Hey! That's my art! Great tutorial and I appreciated all the handmade effort that went into creating the frame for this piece. You made my art look even better, Jayme!
Thanks so much for your content. Have learned a lot from watching. Have you ever thought about doing a faux bamboo out of PVC piping video? I am in SE Ohio and don’t have any access to the real thing. I enjoy your step by step meticulous approach. I have so far done a Tiki Bar and a couple of small tables out of bamboozled PVC. Now that I have an idea how to split PVC I’m going to attempt some framing. Thanks again.
Actually, yes I have considered that. I don't know when I might get to it however--I've only tried to make PVC bamboo once (out of curiosity) and my results were underwhelming. I could see how this would potentially be a great alternative for those who don't have access to organic bamboo, but I need to practice a bit to present a competent how-to.
safety should include a push tool...you should never push with your hands so close to the blade. Other than that great build and I will be using some of your construction.
Funny you should mention the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. I helped promote some interesting research on it a few years back: news.txst.edu/about/news-archive/press-releases/2015/November-2015/TacomaNarrows110315.html

Indeed it is your art! Glad you approve, Tony!

This is true. I usually have scrap wood I use for such things. I didn't this time. My bad.
Tacoma narrows bridge engineers could have used a guy like you on their team.
