This Reversible Patchwork Jacket is Super Cute! 🧥 Burda 6123

I got out all my scraps and made them into a double-sided patchwork jacket for #SewReversible2023 The sewing pattern was one I haven't used before but I quite like it. It's Burda 6123. I really love the way that it turned out and I'm keen to make a patchwork dress using the same method.

Great job. I would love to see a close up of your hand topstitching. How close do you have the stitches, and do you sew using a running stick,or a back stitch. Thanks you

Thanks! I think what I do is called pin stitch (less visible than a normal running stitch). Mostly I do running stitch with a back stitch every 5 or 6 stitches because the patchwork layers are actually pretty bulky. 🧵🪡🧥

Thanks! No, I make my own clothes. Sewers who sell their work are over on instagram and Etsy. This Burda 6123 jacket pattern is actually pretty easy to make.
