One of the things I love about Easy Languages is getting to see a bit of the politics in other countries. Being Canadian, I usually only hear about my own country and the USA. This video was really well put together. I loved to see the different opinions, the pessimists and the optimists. Thank you Juan! Your videos have changed the way I learn Spanish:)

Great video, thank you, Juan! It is an important topic and it's super helpful for my Spanish to hear how people express their opinions...It's also both depressing and inspiring listening to the different speeds and accents of each of the people - some are easy for me understand, others not so much!
I try to interview as many different people as I can, but I feel what you say, natives speak so fast and not clear at all, it is hard to achieve that level of comprehension but don’t give up, you will get there! 💪

Awesome! Me gusta ver lo que la gente en México piensa votar. Es muy importante participar y elegir un buen líder. El problema es con el gobierno. La corrupción debe ser limpiada. Creo que lo dijeron un par de veces. Ese problema es con el gobierno de casi todos los países.

Why was the subjuntivo used for these phrases: Que crees que vaya a pasar and No confio en que vaya a seguir.
I thought for creer the subjuntivo is only used for "no creo". But that's not the case here.

in Mexico they hold the elections on Sunday. Here they are on a Tuesday. Now, why is it that elections in the US are held on a weekday when people have to work? Could it be we don't really want too many working people voting here? I wonder.

@@EthosDemerzel no me sorprendería si no dudarás del mecánismo de encuestas para la aprobación realizada por una empresa privada (como Mitofsky), que ni siquiera dice cómo lo realiza.
Está bien ser de la parte que lo aprueba y de los que no, pero siempre hay que ser críticos en todo.
segun las "encuestas" la mayoría apoya a amlo, pero la verdad tengo mis dudas sobre eso
