Ryan Mitchum is white, and in fact, Alfred Coleman is black. That joke was taken from between recording the Hero story and this, which was all in one take. In the intermission, Alfred mentioned how one of his friends in school used to eat Twinkies with hot sauce, which is why the crew cut up so hard at that moment.

about how much they lost it at eggmans announcement, they actually loved it so much that they stopped the recording between that cutscene and the next to ensure that they wouldnt lose it in case something happened later in the stream. you can still find the unedited clip somewhere around if you wanna see it
