Watching again! Still haven’t decided on a body but the skin and face tones looked immensely better on zve1 - do you think that’s a setting or the sensor difference ?
It's difficult for me to see much of a difference in skin tones, but the FX30 has a sharper image so I can see how the skin tones may look more flattering on the zv-e1 because it's softer
@@TheAugusts how can I share a screenshot? It seems really obvious on my screens ? Twitter? Google drive ? Maybe the fx30 has worse iso performance even at the same iso so it looks darker and features less defined? Edit: sent on IG 🙏
Color wise they seem pretty close together. There was some obvious depth of field differences, which is to be expected. Regarding any noise differences, that can be tackled in post. For the most part, I'd say the FX30 would make an excellent b-cam to the ZV-E1. Thanks for sharing.
Great comparison. My initial thoughts are ZV-E1 has a better dynamic range. Colors are pretty much identical. ZV-E1 has a bit better picture but FX30 is a better camera for us working stiffs. The self cooling being a major issue among other perks like full size HDMI and dual card slots in the FX30.
@@2010EdgarsYes, definitely in that shot with the clouds and lake. There's more detail in the FX30. But the shot a 42 seconds, I thought the ZV-E1 handled portrait better, especially shadow details in the hair.
What do you like better for travel video/filming podcasts - fx30 or zv-e1? Then which do you like better for hybrid travel photo/podcast video - a6700/a7c2 Great work ❤
Thanks for watching! Man, tough choices. I travelled Europe with FX30, and it was perfect because i could pair the small sigma 18-50mm with it. Perfect ravel sized setup. The only cam I haven't tried is the a7c2
@@MoreData-hz8hm depth of field, you can also see the definition in the ZVE1 is better. But get them both in low light and there is a huge difference. The ZVE1 films in dark conditions with no noise. Simple physics on sensor size.
@wakeywarrior advancements in artifical intelligence have made noise issues obsolete, I'd take the portability of the fx30 lenses over the bigger zve1 lenses any day
@@MoreData-hz8hm this isn’t correct, noise is a large issue. They filmed ‘The Creator’ Hollywood blockbuster on the sensor in the ZVE1 precisely for its low light capability. It is amazing. See the video I took at Disney World, much of it filmed at night or in some cases inside very dark rides. I’ve had APSC cameras and they cannot get close.
Look again at 01:30 if both cameras are using the same lens the FX30 shows far more detail here whereas the ZV-E1 looks soft and has a very 'video camera' look to it with details mulched.
To my eye the fx30 looks softer and blacks are noisier. Currently watching it on a 4K projector screen 100” as a point of reference not pixel peaking in my phone or monitor
Nobody cares about the sharpness :). What really matters is that ZV-E1 has dual native iso 640/12800 which totally outperform FX30 - 800/2500 in low light situation (consider almost any non controlled indoor environment) . Also 120fps is with a crop on the APS-C sensors which makes it even more noisier. These are all aspect ppl do not talk often about but are critical for image quality in practice.
FULL Review between the Sony FX30 and ZV-E1 coming shortly! Music: The Curator // Eric Owyoung fm.pxf.io/theaugusts
why Sony FX30 sharper than FF ZV-E1 ????????????????????
What lenses were used on each camera? Lenses play a large part in the look of an image and should always be listed in any test.

Harry styles?
Omg, right!
That's a great comparison, thank you for doing this.
FX30 is indeed sharper because it's a 6k sensor while ZV-E1 is 4k.
Thanks for watching!

ZV-E1 better dynamic range? Really? Look at 1:12.

@@2010EdgarsI looked at ZV-E1 and FX30 last year and ended up going with the FX30 so...
Sir which one is better for me for gym content please tell i,m confused
Depends on your budget, but the ZV-E1 will be better in low light if it's dark in the gym
Can you please provide 4k clips of both cameras to test out in editing plzzzz
Which camera should I purchase for making feature film for theater black magic 6k pro or Panasonic s5iix or sony fx30
All very different cameras, but blackmagic will give you the best image

Nice comparison, seems it's almost the same to an untrained eye in daylight, curious to see a comparison of darker scenes
Thanks for watching!
The ZV-E1 is quite a bit better, as you would expect given sensor size.
It is literally identical except for depth of field, you wouldn't be able to tell any difference in a blind test if depth of field is the same

Not just resolution. Matter of DOP and noise.
Beatiful
Zv e1 better dynamic range

FX 30 🔥 сразу видно кино а е1 👎видно картинка перешапленная
One just had full frame sensor 😭
IF the same lens was used on FX30 and on ZV-E1 I don't see any reason to go for ZV-E1.
12800 iso for low light?
They have the same sensor. The difference is in the software
No bro this is not fx3 this is fx30 it has apsc sensor
