In this video we will create a BEP20 token on the Binance Smart Chain.
It's a great way to write your first smart contract with Solidity, the programming language for Blockchain.
We will use Remix, an online code editor for Solidity. You don't need to install anything on your computer. Everything will be in your browser.

I'm software architect/ fullstack developer and i discover the development of a smart contract in order to create a token on the BSC.
I'm impressed by the simplicity of development even taking into account the optimization for the reduction of the cost of gas or other functionalities (burn, mint, ...).
Is there really nothing more to do than that to launch a new token ?
Come to think of it, the BSC could become the cryptocurrency wordpress...

This is probably something you'd see in more complete token contracts versus an example? But the approve function as is:. If you approve address x to spend 5000 from your address. After that money is sent (0-5000) using the transferFrom function, it doesn't decrement the amount approved as is. So you can keep transferring more tokens as many times as you want, as long as the amount each time is 5000 or less.

You open it on back scan, the you have to approve, that you Are the creator. The you go on 3 dots and add al the Details and upload a PNG image as the logo.

Hey I'm missing something. I followed this guide and it worked in testnet just like you ran it. But when I deploy it bscscan shows 0 tokens and my wallet shows the token but shows a 0 balance. How do I mint my initial supply?

just send your liquidity pool token to dead address which is 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dEaD, its counted as burn

Your videos are great, really educational. I have learned a lot. I just want to let you know I made a contract and couldn't get the balances to show up on bscscan. It bugged me for days! Anyway it turns out that the balancesOf function in my contract was balancesof. It just goes to how how exact you need to be!
You can specify the symbol in MetaMasks connection settings so it will display BNB instead of ETH. Otherwise superb video !

Depends whether you want a transaction fee of $100 USD in ETH for each transaction, or $0.40 in BNB? Transaction fees on the ERC-20 network make it almost unusable right now for anyone but the super rich that can afford to burn $SS on every transaction.
