In late 1970s , Great Maestros prog was organized at Mahajati Sadan , tickets were over sold , so we to sit on stage behind Khan Saheb , and it was a previledge to listen His sehnai so closely .
When curtain was down , Took his autograph , he gave in Urdu and said smilingly he does not know English . Down to earth man , classical music celebrities were coming to see him… feel fortunate to see all this ., most memorable exp of my life .
