    Wow -- a great sounding old dread with a 12th-fret neck joint from Gibson. Blows the typical old J-35 or J-45 right out of the water!

    Wow. Another solo beautiful acoustic song. This kid is so good it's ridiculous. I can't get his hybrid picking stuff down - which he seems to do on many acoustic pieces. There are dozens of guitar channels out there - some good, others not so much. When those guys play, they're not doing what he's doing - it's him and the guitar, that's it. If it's an electric, there's an amp and maybe a loop pedal, but the fact it's always just him and the guitar, in my opinion, is so much harder...and he is so good

    Great sounding guitar.
    I akso heard the smack you gave to the headstock of the smeck when you took it out and just graised it against the shelf.
    You played it cool but your first look to the headstock was a worried one.
    May your luck continue forever🍀😅

    Would anybody be as kind as to tell me what the difference is between this and J45 ? They look so similar to my untrained eyes.

    • @peterpicker850
      @peterpicker850 9 месяцев назад

      12 fret vs 14 fret neck join. Adi top (most post banner J-45s are Sitka, banners are all sorts of things). Slight differences in the bracing. Humongous neck that is 2” at the nut unless it is slimmed down. Honestly, very different guitars.

    Those old mudbox's crank .
    Not all, but I had a early 50's j45 that was like that guitar . A looouuudd beast . Looked like trigger , but all the plyers at all the festivals i took it to had to look a few times at the source of all that sound . Old gibsons are the best by me .
